She beat Camila who shockingly isn't bad at puzzles despite being insane. I'm not saying she's great. I'm saying she's smarter than two people that would probably agree that she's smarter than them.

Cory had his Invasion final which was pathetic and he's not the brightest and Nelson has his "Nelson-isms" with how he speaks but Tori, albeit a good narrator, has been terrible in puzzles, strategy, and with the exception of XXX, socially navigating the game as well

Tori got her top tier competitor rep mainly through her eliminating Georgia and Jenny which Georgia almost beat her at and Jenny wasn't used to physical contact at all. Then got purged on a puzzle. I think she's still average but I mean if she shows out this season then I'd be willing to admit I'm wrong

Derrick is the dumbest person this show has ever seen that has made a impact on the show and has been in several seasons. The Ruins final proved that. Derrick is the most overrated competitor ever because anyone can win big team seasons when you are carried and he won 3 in a row and people talk about him like he is a top 10 all time competitor. He had One of the worst final challenge performances ever on The Ruins that never gets talked about.
The thing is all puzzles aren't made the same, some you can solve instantly and some it can take hours. Not that one puzzle is harder than the other, but the strategy needed to sovle it varies from each kind. Anyone can do really well or really horrible depending on the puzzle. One example is Ashley getting purged at a puzzle in wotw2 final despite normally being good at them.
