So this season looks to be very confusing. When the guy and girl are picked by the winning team, does their old partners create a new team? And what if when the winning pair win, one of them wants to stick with who they won the elimination with and the other doesn't? What happens then? There could literally be 4 new teams after every elimination.

Yes, the old partners of the chosen elim players become a team. The winners of the elim then get to pick their new partners. So yes, there can be up to 4 new teams every elim.
we're just delaying the inevitable. it'll be all those boys then Devin, then Josh, Nelson might pop up in between there because he's always the one we want to do good but he gets purged or thrown into hall brawl.

i personally feel like Ash, Nelson and Cory would do a better job holding amanda down than Josh would....also feel like we never really have seen Amanda/Tori interact and i wouldnt trust tori either
Im hoping this season isn't bad and they took notes from All Stars, but we all know they didn't do that
the only thing good about Allstars is seeing old faces. by all means everything else was bad. that format was just as abused as the current one we're seeing

honestly.. unpopular opinion but all stars wasn't really that different. i mean it was pretty much free agents with a unneccessary twist mid-season, it felt like something they'd do on the main seasons. i just feel like people let nostalgia blind them

Only thing All stars had that I liked was a better location....that scenery was beautiful. Everything else we get on MTV nowadays
