They gave me some clothing to take home and the guy from the tribe asked me to wear it and send pictures back in it. I explained to him how that would be seen as offensive and cultural appropriation. He explained that they love when people where the clothing cause it helps people from around the world learn about their culture. I never wore it here though because I knew how it would be perceived.
