The Challenge: All Stars - Aneesa Ferreira

Any amount of respect I had for kvm is pretty much gone with this thread lmao like stick to arguing about the challenge, not defending predatory behaviors

If the people she's spying on don't care then I guess she's off the hook, production won't do anything unless someone complains, but I doubt they would even take action at that point, based on how much they let JEK get away with. Though KellyAnne said she did it on the first season they did together(Bloodlines?) so she's been creeping for years and it's really damn weird. People have been banned from the show for less IMO (Turbo for example but I get he's an insurance issue). If she was peaking on me I'd be complaining to production to get that predator out of the house, it's pretty creepy and the fact that she's like the pervy uncle where people are like "Oh yeah that's just Aneesa, she's always watching people shower, don't worry" doesn't make it less weird or acceptable

Where do you see people trying to get her kicked off for any other reason then this actual serious issue? All I see is people raising attention to something actually really serious! If she's been doing this for almost two decades then yes it becomes creepy and a problem... maybe you are fine with something looking at your body in the shower but I think most people would not be ok with that. It's uncalled for and extremely inappropriate. I said what I said and I'm not going to do a back and forth like everyone else does with you.

I'm dead at him trying to blame this on cancel culture. Lol.

For sake of argument...5 or 10 years ago if this is said how many comments does it get?   How many people would have a different reaction that the majority that have responded?

Laterrian said he didn't care--why does this board?

homophobia was also the norm 20, even 10 years ago. does that make it ok/"normal"? Such a lame excuse for behavior TODAY

So, you agree that 5/10 years ago the exact same action would have been a non-issue?  I just want to make sure I understand since you're saying this isn't about the cancel culture...

That argument would have been better if people weren't saying "ban Aneesa" as well but JMO

It doesn't matter because Aneesa is pulling this shit today. What is your point? lol you wouldn't make fun of someone for being gay and then go, oh well it was normal 10 years ago! That's not how it works kvm, I know you're old but get with the times.

Aneesa spying on people showering or having sex without consent is not the same as people they are comfortable with joking around with them while drunk in the shower or whatever or seeing them naked in passing like in a locker room.

I can't.   She doesn't need consent to be in the bathroom--if you're having sex in a public place someone's probably going to look.  If you don't want them to LOCK THE DOOR.  If there's no lock DON'T HAVE SEX IN A PUBLIC AREA.   Go to your bed throw the covers on or just don't have sex.

I have no idea why you're comparing this to homophobia.

One example

Let's get this ***** banned permanently.   I'm talking about Aneesa, not kvm.

You don't need to go back and worth with me but the fact you just flat out state I'm wrong when NO ONE has indicated they have a problem with it doesn't make sense.

I'll just leave it at this; Johnny pulled off a girl's top in 2006 and nothing happened to him. Vinny pulled off Mandi's top in 2012 and got kicked off the show and never asked back. Does that make Johnny's actions any less bad? No. Times change.

I raise the question if Aneesa was a male creeping in the shower area to spy on women would this even be a back and forth discussion

If this story blew up Aneesa would not be back on TV.....MTV has enough going on with trying to cover up what happens on AYTO

Wow aneesa really is a creep

Who's shirt did John pull off?  And Vinny was kicked off because of Mandi's reaction. If Laterrian was bothered by it then it could be a problem. Men around 40 generally speaking aren't going to care.

What about when she's just creeping on people showering? You conveniently left that part out. And people (Fessy and many more) did not want her looking and she did anyway.

I'm comparing it to homophobia because you're saying this behavior would be a non-issue in the past. Homophobia was a non-issue in the past, but now it is. Same concept. You're not that slow.

I raise the question if Aneesa was a male creeping in the shower area to spy on women would this even be a back and forth discussion

I mean the entire cast watch Veronica shower then half the cast watched the threesome. Jillian didn't care. Melinda didn't care. Ashley didn't care. Im sure I'm forgetting some. It would simply depend on the reaction.

But yes that generally speaking would be worse. There is a very real double standard.

So why wasn't he sent home?  Did she decide to let him stay like Seattle letting Stephen stay?  Another reason to bam John.

Do you believe the people arguing that Aneesa should be banned don't also believe John should be banned? Like, yes, he should have been banned a long time ago

I don't see the comparison. One is discrimination.

Again if you don't want anyone to see you in the shower why would you lock the door or hang-up a towel or something. Who said Fessy cared?  That's changing the story

David was kicked off LA for basically the same thing and that was in the 90s

Also, being on a reality television show, which is something you hope will help you, your career, your family, puts a lot of pressure on contestants to want to satisfy producers. Sometimes people will feel pressured or try not to make it a big deal, but that doesn't mean it's okay. Consent is important, and someone laughing off someone's lack of respect for their boundaries doesn't mean that her actions are okay.

You really will argue anything until you're blue in the face. Can you just perma-ban him already pink? We're tired lmao

I'm saying suggesting Aneesa should be banned over this is insane and it's mainly people just don't like her. John's list of offenses is long but there's more to why he wasn't sent home than when it happened when you consider David Edwards

kvm, answer this with a yes or no please:

Do you believe that people showering should have their privacy respected?

Do you believe that a woman wearing a garment to cover her breasts should have her privacy respected? Just as everyday, default behavior, please say yes or no.

All of those people should have been removed for their behavior. Production being negligent in the past is not an excuse for them to be negligent in the present.

You really will argue anything until you're blue in the face. Can you just perma-ban him already pink? We're tired lmao

Then don't engage. Why do you feel as though I have to agree with you?  If I was on the show I wouldn't care just like I'm sure it's unlikely anyone there cares.

Still not sure why you're saying Fessy does

Production, as far as I'm aware, has always removed something if another cast member said they went unsafe.  See Eddie or whomever randomly disappeared. I think too much is being made of this but I believe that about most things.

kvm: if they don't care or if it was accepted anytime in the past, then it doesn't matter, it's not a big deal *boomer noises*

The first one isn't a yes or no answer.  When you live with other people there's no such thing as privacy when you're in the bathroom unless everyone has their own.  They all know this when they sign up.

The second one is a yes but it's not about privacy.  They have no right to touch her to remove the shirt.  That's assault--see Nia with Jordan.

You're trying to oversimplify things

So why does it feel like most of the cast knows how to give people privacy, despite it being "harder to have privacy"? If someone's in a shower, you don't look. If you happened to look by accident, then you looked by accident, but everyone is very clearly stating that Aneesa didn't do it by accident, she did it as a "move" to show someone she's attracted to them. Her move is her purposely and explicitly looking at naked people showering...when she could literally look or walk away and not be there at all. Walking away and not staring at naked people showering is not a difficult thing to do.

Why are you assuming most of the cast provides them that additional privacy?  I just don't think you're being realistic but run with your opinion.

Because as far as we know, in the two shows, Aneesa is the common denominator of both. If people want to call out the rest of the cast for purposely disrespecting people's privacy, that won't be a problem with me. Are you asking me why I would assume most people wouldn't peep at naked people showering?
