The Challenge:Favorite Things 2.0

Greetings Yet Again. So I guess you're wondering what this thread is about? Well I'll tell you.

This thread is pretty much the opposite of The Burn Book thread. Here Myself(and you all as well) Will make posts about things that you like about the challenge. It can be anything. Castmembers, Seasons, the few things production gets right etc. You name it. Think Positivity is something that should be spread more on these parts.

So..There ya go. Enjoy and Join in!

Let me start typing.

Yess!  This forum needs more postivity!  Great idea for a thread DA :)

The empress of the challenge! She always handled herself with such grace. Even when thst disgusting, repulsive girl 'Dee' tried her multiple times, she still was classy. She also almost beat the killing floor queen, Da'Vonne, in an elimination, and is the only person on that season who was close to doing so.

Shaleen also brought us a new era of fashion! She was bringing back the H&M 2008 type of fashion, and it was needed then more than ever.

I will always love and thank Shaleen for her contributions to this dying franchise.

CORY.

Starting off strong with The Modern King himself Cory! Tbh I didn't really care for him on his RW season but I gave him a chance on bloodlines and boy I'm glad I did! Ioved his relationship with Mitch and he prefomred really well he went on to become a mainstay on this show and to me. He's had some great moments. Putting Tony on his *** on FR(You don't **** with a man's food like ever) Creating The Young Bucks and starting the trend of really taking it to these musty *** super vets, His odd as hook-ups..Like Aneesa, Kailah, A Local Girl who was mistaken for a castmember. He's honestly made a mark on this show I feel like and aside for these past few seasons he's brought something every time he's on even if he's just there for a cup of Coffee. **** he was apart of the main story for Ex On The Beach! MTV really investing in him is one of the few things I felt they've done right.

STEPHEN BEAR.

Is he an awful person? Yes. But so was Puck and he's one of the most Iconic characters to ever grace this franchise. Bear was ******* entertaining and a **** good casting choice to me. He kept me glued to the screen watching what he was going to do next and I honestly haven't had that Since Beth On Gauntlet 2. He was at his best on War of the Worlds 1. Him dragging Ninja will always send me into Orbit and him being partnered with Da'vonne was all kinds of Iconic. They couldn't be more different it seemed like they played the game in two different directions. It was quite a sight to see. It's a shame now that he's pretty much done with MTV given the shit that he's done.

Gonna have my first post here be about Nany:

She still has her dramatic moments and low blows (The Aneesa fight during TM) but I will always have a soft spot for her.  I loved her during DA and was hoping she would pull out a win.  I think she's underrated as a competitor - is she a super strong powerhouse like a Jenny?  No.  But she can hold her own, has a killer social game that gets her far most seasons, and she is just one of those cast members that, for me personally, makes me happy to see.  I think all cast members need to take a season off after they do a few in a row, but I am happy she came back to the series.  I hated most of the new cast members during WOTW-DA, so it's nice to see a familiar face that I love. <3

And one more for the night: Queen V

Is she controversial?  Yes.  Is she great tv?  Yes.   Seeing her arc from Battle of the Seaons to Inferno 2 was interesting.  She basically learned her ways from Emily Bailey afters getting screwed by her on Seasons and Sexes 1.  She then came back to us on The Ruins.  Then shockingly we got see her on the trilogy.  She plays a great social game back in the day and we got see moments of her social game sneak in on seasons like The Ruins and Dirty 30 (Ibis and Leroy vote) she proved she still could control the game even just a little bit when she doesn't have a lot of allies.  She's only lost one elimination that was one on one which was to KellyAnne on the Ruins.  She's crafty, plays be her own rules, and her drama always seemed authentic and not contrived for screen time like some of the over dramatic people of current seasons.  Like she said during Dirty 30 - she paved the way for these girls to be her (along with a few other iconic cast members like Coral, Katie, Rachel, etc..).  She has had her rocky moments filmed over the years but I still think at the core she is a good person.  Def an all time fav of the series <3

The Challenge: All-Stars

The only good decision MTV has made in years. Seeing OG legends like Beth, Katie, Teck etc in a challenge in 2021 has been everything for me and so far the season has delivered. It's really great seeing a lot of these people again and I hope it's a concept that continues and hopefully production sticks to it mostly being OGs and not the regulars we already see on the regular show. Still, even if this is a one and done concept, it has been worth it.

Vendettas was a really good format, from the inquisition to the grenades to the bank account. All the twists were refreshing. They should bring them back but just improve on the weaknessess.

It's okay--I would have probably said the same thing only less nice if you didn't beat me to it lol

Lets give some love to the queen in this thread. Beat mini martinez and bug t in a dominating way on her way to a killing the final and smoking kam and nany while racking up 450k more in her bank account. Those two just weren't on her level she could smoke any girl currently on the challenge in a final(without math). The challenge honestly fumbled the bag not casting her for season 37 cause i just know she would've provided everything. Would've given us a good revenge storyline on big brother and had a nice little showmance with nelson. Is she a little boring? Yes. But is she fun to root for since she has so many other people pressed? Yes! If kaycee and jenny can get more than one season i know for sure amber should get more than one. #ROBBEDQUEEN #GIVEAMBERANOTHERCHANCE

I really disliked Dee when she was talking smack about Shaleen. In her elimination she was only a 2-4 bags behind Davonne.

NELSON

He was useless on Rivals 3 but man did he make a splash on Invasion and I've loved him ever since. Messy, and unintentially halrious, He's always put a smile on my face anytime he's on, One of the best acuisitions from AYTO in my mind. I can't wait to see what he brings in the 2021st Century!

Loved her ever since I watched The Real World: Key West. Then seeing her come onto The Challenge: The Duel 1 i was HYPED. Winning 3 eliminations and making the final her rookie season plus checking Beth at the reunion was amazing. She is iconic for running out the airport when she was supposed to be on Gaunlet 3. I pray that she come on All Stars 2!

One of the FINEST men to ever appear on The Challenge and The Real World. Absolutely love him and he is a great competitor. Was extremely happy he came back for at least one more season this year

She is one ICONIC woman, she delivered on The Real World: Las Vegas 2002 and then going to the final on Battle Of The Sexes 2 ( which she should've won ). Her coming back to All Stars and having some good one liners, confessionals. Let's not forget that iconic read she gave on the house when she quit. Never seen anyone like her. She needs to do All Stars 2 or maybe even 3. I absolutely love her a lot

I didn't like her at first but idec that she was against Nany on WOTW2 she ate the challenge up!!!!!

Queen of getting invited back after qutting on Vednettas; single handedly ending Jemmye & Kailah at the vendettas reunion ; beating Paulie & Natalie and Jozea & Davonne in elimination and kyle & Brad in redemption ; having 0 elimination losses ;  being a political goddess in WOTW2 and ending georgia harrison and jenny west; eating up WOTW2 dailies ; being the only UK person to utilise the ability to throw in her own team member; sacrificing herself to save us from Joss ; being one purge away from making the final challenge and winning WOTW2.
