I love that out of everyone on this cast people are still confused about the casting of Tommy
You seem to still be confused why people don't want to see a boring teacher who will stand in the background all season and deliver forced confessionals like"my 4th graders are smarter than blah blah".
I don't care if you think he's boring or if you don't want him on the show--that's fine. Not comprehending it is ridiculous and that's what people keep saying. Casting him isn't difficult to comprehend. He's a competitor, he's a strategist, he's likeable. They aren't going to cast 34 people that bring fake drama nor should we want that. You need people like Tommy on the show for balance. Again, this is simple regardless of your opinion of him. And his fourth graders likely are smarter than half the cast.
Tommy is funny, he isn't charming, he isn't witty. He is bland and adds nothing. That's fine if you like him but you not understanding how people are surprised this bore made an MTV reality show is idiotic.
I'm not pro-Tommy but with pretty much every rookie class since WOTW being absolutely abysmal, is a Survivor winner worse than like a Shaleen or whatever? lol

Clearly they are prioritizing winners from other shows despite what they actually bring to the table. While I think some can work out (Michele), others like Tommy and Kaycee we're just going to have to live with cause that's what this wack casting department has decided to do. It's really not worth 10 pages of back and forth every day

That's just one example I have. What about when he picked Tori to be his partner? Natalie was right there but he knew that by picking Tori he would have a lesser target because TYB, Kamroy and BB weren't gonna risk throwing Tori in since noone knew if it would be a girls or guys day.
I like Tori but why didn't he pick Kam who had the numbers? Tori didn't have the numbers? And they essentially got thrown at the first opportunity.
Because Kyle is his guy and he's not a ******** like CT.

Im still hoping that its duo eliminations this season, it would make the season less long and those elimintions usally cause some shocks.

I didnt watch all of season 36 but did the partner swaps causes any arguments or interesting storylines?

Look at WOTW2 - Sean, Idris, Jenny, Big T, Nicole, Ester. THAT is some **** poor rookie casting yet the season ended up being good imo. Michaela, Michele, and a lot of these people have way more potential than those flops so I'm lowkey here for most of the rookies they got.
Once again they keep casting kaycee and randoms from around the world... why are yall so angered and surprised that a survivor winner in his 20's is on this.
yeah i really like the rookies but the vets are kinda trash
probably the worst vet cast in a long time but with a lot of the vets declining for personal reasons or cause they're burnt out (Kailah, Hunter, etc), a lot of the vets fumbling their bag (Paulie, Cara, Bear, etc), and the rest being banned for racist past coming to haunt them (Georgia, Mattie, Rogan, Jordan, Jay etc) now is more important than ever that they get some people in there with longevity (aka early twenties, need the money, competitive)
Also this is why it's super important they try to make this show more enjoyable. If they do another bunker season like TM where they're purposely torturing these people, they're not going to come back.

It is playing a smart game. Why would Devin burn bridges with his own allies when he already had pretty much everyone against him? And Kyle definitely cares for him lmfbo, why would he have strategy sessions with him every night and why was he helping him in challenges and eliminations??
Michele is very savvy. Her social game was amazing which is how she was able to win, she's VERY good in challenges and she's the only person to play Survivor multiple times and NEVER be eliminated...She's also got a little fiesty side of her which we'd probably see more on this show when alcohol involved, unlike on Survivor

i really cant believe we almost had a survivor takeover then jay, natalie & wendell all disappear in the same week. i think that was a powermove..
