According to Aneesa, her father has distant Italian and Portuguese ancestry which makes sense because Ferreira is a common Portuguese last name. Aneesa's mother is descended from the Jewish community in Eastern Europe.

She is such a unique character that we don't ever get on The Challenge, and users are all of a sudden trying to reduce her to something that she isn't....
Big t's peak was double agents and that's clear now that she went home first here. She's a nice girl but she's an anchor to any partner she has. She wouldn't even have won with ct as a partner that's how bad she is.
It's bad enough we have Aneesa and nany in that same role. But at least Aneesa is an OG and nany unfortunately has been there for 10 years so she's a staple at this point. I'm tired of them bringing in weak black women while the other races get athletes ninja warriors and beast masters.
