This was such a good episode. I haven't watched a challenge during it's actually run since Free Agents because the following ones really changed the format of the show. My favorite seasons are from the mid-2000s so it's really cool to see the show return to a more og format (no pun intended).
The challenge for this episode was so much fun, and I was surprised by Mark using the life shield but I knew it was gonna lead to a new twist. The fact that they'd been playing up the "we don’t know what's gonna happen when someone uses the life saver" was a dead giveaway something was gonna happen.
oh, and playing Enya's "Orinoco Flow" as Katie jumped made me laugh so hard.
-That was so epic! ****. I do think Arissa just didn't think she was going to win though, but so what, I'm glad we got such an iconic moment. We got one of the best exit speeches ever. Ayanna is still number 1, but Arissa's was so G. I love they gave us a slow motion of her taking the helmet off. haha. I confess I have watched the Arissa exit several times now already.
-Anyone else also think Arissa believed there were shadier things going on behind the scenes with the castmates against her than there were? Because I think there was a good chance Kendal would have been thrown in had Darrell not started it off by asking Beth who she wanted.
-Anyone notice my baby girl Jonna got tons of confessionals this episode? And you can't say she doesn't have heart. She had a baby not too long ago, is not in Kelly Anne/Kendal shape, and still was getting that booty down the rope ON HER BOOTY the entire way. No quit with her. I thought she was going to fall on her own not by another person. That had to hurt those thighs though. Everyone on the after show said she had the worst rope burns of everyone. Poor thing. And I think she thought she was going in instead of Beth. Thank God she didn't.
-Just like I think Kendal thought she was going in once TJ told them to vote in the elimination arena. So on to her, *** Jisela?! "no one comes after my frannd!" Pipe down because your friend came after her first. That was so wack. I think Kendal must have banged one of Jisela's many hook ups back in the day or something. Thank you Kelly Anne for pointing it out that had Kendal pulled a Katie and just quit these chicks would have made a bigger deal out of it. This is why I like Kelly Anne. She's so real and thinks for herself. Those women are too old for this high school mean girl ***.
edit: but boyyyyy is Arissa going to have some WORDS for the people on this aftershow
Arissa isn't on the aftershow
Thanks I know that obviously since I watched it. I'm talking about she is going to have words for the people that were on there, meaning after she watches it but thanks for the input.
- The hypocrisy and double standard is jumping out...Kendal did less than Mark in his power trip and he isn't getting any of backlash from the cast. I guess the benefits of pitching the show.
- Jisela starting to annoy me "don't vote my friend in", Aneesa was the one that voted her in first take several seats and be quiet.
- Derrick is so horrible on confessionals & 0 Charisma. Why does people like him again?
- Jonna always giving her all even with the baby weight on her. She never gave up.
- I like Arissa and I though the scene of her flicking them off was funny. But what she did expect she secluded herself and wasn't politicking?
- I am glad there wasn't a lot of Jemmye during this episode.
I said this before but I love seeing people stick together. This time it was Katie/Derrick who I completely forgot were close, Alton/Arissa and Beth/Syrus.
I am obsessed with this show lol. I liked the mission, the loyalty of long friendships. I didn't know Mark and Katie were so close, I wonder if Derrick orchestrated that? Arissa had an iconic exit and I am so happy it was uncensored lol. I don't blame her, she knew she couldn't throw the ball so instead of losing go out with a bang. Jimmy had wayyy to many confessionals. The only one that was needed was the one about Mark being 50 on a power trip.

i still haven't watched the last two episodes of that steaming pile of shit Double Agents but I turn this on as soon as I wake up to get ready for work lol
Ok. About Kendal...she has these girls so bothered huh? I agree with everything PR said...Mark is endearing when he is power hungry but a sweet/drunken Kendal is trash for doing way less? They are so scared of Kendal but not of Kellyanne? Aneesa can say Kendal but when she says Aneesa in return it's an issue? I was loving Jisela episode one as this fun underdog, but now I'm loving her as kind of the sassy villain...even though she's coming for my girls neck. I need Kendal to quit being a pushover to her.

Same. I have only had DA on in the background for the past few weeks. Can't tell you any storylines besides CT and Tula worked together and Theresa had the girls bothered. This though I wake up 45 minutes early before work even though I'm not a morning person and I'm engaged through the whole thing. I don't touch my phone once. It's great.

Because Kendal allows them to treat her like that she isn't confrontational kind of a pushover. They know if they started attacking or saying stuff like that to Kellyanne she will bite back, Kendal will just take it.

Kellyanne is more vocal, confrontational and will call them out on their bs. Aneesa doesn't have this energy on the regular show and Jisela didn't have this energy around Coral for a reason. They know who to try! Kendal is an easy target for them and guys like (Mark/Derrick) that lack balls that will just use her as an scapegoat because they are afraid of the other girls.
oh stay mad kendal is annoying and she looks so passive and victim playing so i don't blame them for hating
She's definitely passive because she is too sweet to speak up. But I don't think she is playing victim, they are treating her awful and she hasn't said much.
Its so obvious to me theres an alliance with derrick/mark/jisela/aneesa (and I think a few others like darrell). There is no reason for mark to want kendal out so much and go so hard for those two. Shes the person who will help you win a final. But I guess since theres one winner, they dont seem to care who the female counterpart is SMH.
**** Arissa sent herself in. If she didn't randomly vote Kellyanne in it'd be 4 votes Kendal. Jemmye would've voted Kendal. At that point most people didn't like Kendal so she'd go in, but since votes were going Arissa's way they all jumped that bandwagon. Even Kellyanne may have voted for Aneesa instead not Arissa. That was so dumb of Arissa. It was kinda funny but it is what it is.
poor production setting up this whole challenge just to get a quit lmaoooooo
this challenge looked really fun too
amazing twist!
**** they really played jonna during the challenge
lets be honest arissa knew she wasn't winning that
the bigger move would have been winning that challenge then quitting.
Can we box?
Arissa slayed
These people really are making Kendal the main character without even trying lol

On the after show KellyAnne brings up a good point:
Katie quit the challenge and Mark went on a lifesaver power trip; had that been Kendal the house would've torn her to shreds.
Jisela is also starting to annoy me lol
Also, Arissa was iconic
edit: but boyyyyy is Arissa going to have some WORDS for the people on this aftershow

Im over Mark calling himself The Godfather... and when he went on a powder trip no one said anything but when Kendal did it... it was a problem
