Jisela was the star of the episode for sure. Ace has the worst luck, he always goes home so early, was hoping he'd be LT but LT def redeemed his Gauntlet elimiation lol. Hope we get more Katie and Kendal soon - the preview for the season looks great! I also loved the random themed party. Even though it's extreme challenges (def would have been okay with less extreme lol) it still had a fun old school vibe. It's late though and I need sleep - these are just my initial thoughts. Hearing F bombs is jarring lol I'm so used to them bleeping it out on MTV lol Loved Every Second of This.
Also that challenge artwork in the house of eliminations was freaking cool - they should sell prints of that. I also loved that they have Quotes on the wall.

I wonder how it would've worked. Jisela chooses the replacement? Obviously she can't go down there for him. Maybe the entire team revotes which is why we saw that drama in the trailer looked like some sort of team discussion and couldn't come to an agreement

It would be kind of epic is the person with the life savor just picks someone. That could cause some good drama fast and some unexpected outcomes.
I haven't kept up with the challenges for a while, but I 1000% will with this one. Whoever is in charge of the music deserves a raise, I legit was overwhelmed with happiness the whole time. Teck killed me talking about they were old people out on the playground with walkers. LT bothered me at first because he was trying to be such a tough guy. After a while, I understood him. His past challenge elim haunted him, so he had something to prove. Watching him throw ace on the ground sort of made me *****, I'm ashamed of myself. And also, I just want to say how much I loved the trio of Arissa, Jisela, and Aneesa dancing together at the 90s party. Iconic. I will never watch a normal season again, no need.
I wish the episode was longer, it's streaming...there's no time constraints. The premiere should have done a better job reintroducing everyone and giving them all airtime. Jonna didn't even get a confessional. I don't like the format at all. But I love the old school vibes! The 90s party made me so happy. Jisela was the absolute star of the episode in so many ways! Teck is still bringing great energy! So excited for this season!!! I just want more!!! 45 min isn't enough lol.

I wonder if they intend on playing it on MTV at some point? There is literally no point of limiting it to 45 min if not. It's a streaming service so there really should be no reason for 45 minutes....even on cable premieres are usually 60 min of show time. They have 2 original shows...most people are literally only paying for The Challenge and they can only give us 45 min of content and one actual OG season to rewatch? Smh lol.

Yeah I honestly think at least 1/2 of the people on double agents wouldn't have been able to do it either lol. So I agree with that.

To think this is the first time we are seeing Trishelle, Alton and Arissa in years and nothing in the first episode with the 3 of them. The first time we are seeing Teck and Ruthie and zero interactions with them. Huge letdown.

Did anyone notice the horrible resolution of some of the throwback clips?! It looks like the clips posted on youtube. I don't understand. Who has the original videos if not Paramount?! Is it an issue of being digitized? Did the throwback clips on homecoming look that way? Someone explain this to me.

There might be actual limits. During Big Brother Over the Top (internet only version) the live eviction episodes were still limited and the fibale was only an hour I think and reunion was rushed. It's really dumb
Wow this was amazing! Beth is still just as legendary as expected, Jisela is the biggest surprise to me in the best way, Jemmeye is the only one I dislike on the whole cast even big easy I don't hate like I used to. I'm really impressed with both paramount plus revivals but they need way more :)
