New cast is severely needed -- although the Gilsa storyline was tired it still held the show for a few seasons until Nilsa got in a serious relationship and got over Gus.
Just like JS when Snooki got pregnant the show went stale (arguably was already stale atp but still). There should always be a revolving relationship like Ron/Sammi, Jionni/Snooki (early years) reoccurring to keep the momentum for these kinds of shows or it falls flat.
I was told from a birdie there might be atleast 1 new addition at some point during the filming of the current season. Not sure if this person is going to be a set cast member or just a guest.
