Other hopefuls from that era that we haven't seen in a while: Bruno, Latoya, Marie, and Tony... I feel like it's been their decisions though to not return. On Invasions it sounded like Bruno needed the money, I really thought he'd be a regular.
Ugh I would love a season with both Marie and LaToya back together. I know LaToya has moved on sadly but we can always hope <3 Marie is def one of my favs

"Up in the air" could literally just mean she received a phone call. It doesn't mean she would accept, that doctors would clear her, that production is going to give her a final call, etc. It just means she was on the radar at the very least.
I feel like that "up in the air" meant that they didn't outright reject or get crossed off after the first call, which seems like she absolutely would/should.

I think what we have to keep in mind is that this list is probably made via who pink hears got availability calls and that's it. it doesn't mean she knows every single detail on who declined or accepted or whatever until later
I personally would be shocked to see Marie again. I can almost 100% guarantee she won't ever be casted again. Like I said, she tweeted "**** MTV" and talked shit about them. Whether she was right or not, no business is going to take on someone who actively talks negatively about them publically. That coupled with whatever surgery she had to have, she is as close to a certain "no" as they come.

Doubt it since nobody from survivor has much of a following unless it's from outside Survivor like Michael Yerger or Chelsea Meissner. Even people who are well liked by fans who would the target demo for MTV are mostly under 100k like Michele, Wentworth & Natalie but if anyone from the show is going to bring viewers over, it's them. The only real reason that makes sense would be they want diverse rookies to be brought in, I think Gabby was the only non POC rookie last season

I dont hate Lauren at all, but I feel like yall overrating tf outta her. Her tribe was butt cheeks in challenges on Edge of Extinction. I know she got some atheltic ability, but its so many stronger Survivor alum than her. Shes young, but shes easily impressionable, and not the smartest knife in the drawer. I dont really do YT girls, but if yall say she attractive, I'll accept that. Shes kinda laid back and reserved, one of those Jesus freaks, so I dont expect any dramatic s**t from her. Shes like a Jenna 2.0.
I think the AUS Survivor girl pool could provide more talent. Flick, Brooke, Ziggy, Daisy, Abbey are all young, strong, entertaining, and wont hesitate to really play the game.
