Darrel is basically saying they cheated and didn't get called out by production. He still makes it clear that there was a dropzone and that they didn't land inside of it.

if that's what he's saying then he's also saying he wanted to cheat as well he just wasn't as good at it

And suddently people are silent about the last daily being rigged to big CT and that final :tea:

Championdarrell's god himself spoke the thrut, that must hurt.

you really had to edit your post to insert my name into it, cringe

i have no issue w the daily, gamer's posts on the final puzzle rule change are the issue

How we know isn't a misinterpretation like others had on the last daily? We have heard cast members saying they interpreted the rules differently

I hypothesized this as well, something is telling me that there wasn't a rule change just a lack of awareness at most. Which has been happening the entire season, and even CT himself has gotten screwed by it.

Ugh! My biggest pet peeve is when they cast rookies over 30 & based on names I have heard it will continue next season as of now. I used to love seen them make them do stupid mistakes and grown up through the seasons.

Seeing old rookies like Jenny, Kaycee, Lolo and Natalie A hasn't been fun at all.

THIS and the past two seasons the winners have all been over 30 with the girls who won probably not doinng many more seasons

I understand the vets being older because we have seen them around for a while and the majority of them were young when they started. But these rookies being in their 30s & some even mid/late 30s is tragic *** **** because they already did all the growing up before debuting. Long term isn't a smart investment they would retire sooner than others.

None of these rookies have been able to have same story arcs and character development as those that we saw debuting young. The last group of rookies I can think of that have had this story arc if the invasion crew that they all started relative young and have been growing up even making mistake on this shows since then.

I don't necessarily think we live in a climate where people can make stupid mistakes anymore, and not get canceled.Imagine if Abe said today what he said on his season of the road rules, something to the effect of people should marry within their race.He would've been banned, fired from his outside job,and labeled a racist for the rest of his life. But he was given room to grow, and now look at him married to a beautiful black queen.People today don't have that kind of leeway. That also might be why they're casting older people, less likely to say or do something stupid.

That's not what he is saying

were the wotw1 rookies all relatively young? or was final reckoning like the last time everyone was young, dumb and wild?

Liv was the youngest at 21 and they cut all her scenes this season so....

He definitely wanted to cheat but Amber B let go too early. Wonder what would have happened if they had gone past the dropzone though.

i'd rather take a jenn lee over a natalie anderson, amber b or lolo jones

This is just.. embarrassing. No offense meant, honestly. But..

That's not why they are casting older

It is. They were given rules that he was going to purposely break just to see if he could get away with it. That's why he said it's easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission. It's a savvy vet move but still breaking the rules. But it's on production more than the players so whatever.

Are they trying to get that Big Brother/Survivor type of audience?

watch them do a team of 30's/40's vs. team of 20's

Just look at Kaycee there is no story arc at all like she is just there for the past 2 seasons

I would love to see that. I love seeing the older castmates, shoot me lol.

But I feel like there needs to be atleast one season with none of the vets, to see how good some people really are. In the end mostly vets always win, and not only because they are liked, but because they are used to these games. Very well seasoned and some of them know how to play it to a T and are always two steps ahead of others, production mess aside thats how they win often or atleast stay around longer.

I don't mind older cast members but for vets because they have some type of story arcs based on previous seasons that's why I am excited for the og show in a way.

But as far as Rookies goes I like seeing them in their early/mid 20s.

We know this doesn't work because of Seasons. If they can't do well with the vets there then they aren't evey good

This show needs vets for the casuals a season without establish vets is not going to work it has been proven on the past

I can see how some of the cast members could have been confused about the rules for that daily.  They were told to drop in the drop zone (because the helicopter would turn away from the platform right after), but never explicitly told that not doing so would result in a DQ.  And the reason the helicopter was turning at that point was for their safety- if it had continued straight over the platform, then some of them could have broken their legs by mistiming their drop and landing on the platform instead of in the water.

Jenn gave nothing lmao. I can't name one thing she gave besides getting completely destroyed in an elimination, she did nothing on two reality shows and went home first twice. I especially meat Natalie A, if you think she's "just athletic" you haven't watched her on Survivor or Amazing Race. She's socially masterful, very smart, and doesn't care who she ****** off and will ***** someone out.

She gave us "Greetings Earthlings," which was funnier than anything Kaycee or Jenny gave us all season.

Are they really interested in David or is that just a rumor?

I always assumed they casted older rookies so that the age difference between CT, Bananas, Wes vs the rest of the cast wouldnt look too weird.

Are they really interested in David or is that just a rumor?

They cast people like Jen Lee, Joseph and Amber M. So unfortunately, them being interested in David wouldn't be too far fetched. BUT we haven't heard it from PR or Gamer, so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Who the hell is David?

Edit: Nvm from BB, I saw all stars and thought it meant OG Challenge

Yeah I thought they meant David as in CT's cousin from the inferno.

David will get destroyed. He makes Josh seem tough.

David *** is as clumsy as Josh lol

He was always so bad on those big brother I watched
