I rewatched the daily again, Amber B and Darrell also dropped just outside the zone. Clearly production wasn't being strict with the rules when it came to this. Once again, some fans are reaching at straws with this imo. Makes sense as to why Darrell liked Devin's tweet.

See. I tried to say this and got told shut up and that it was an "imaginary scenario" as if the finals talk isn't lmao. No, I knew there was a reason MTV is literally showing off that moment
All people have to do is go back and look at the whole thing and they can find a fewww points about it but they don't want to. It must not have mattered that much. Someone say Kam/Lee felt like there should have been a DQ or a do-over, which never happens? Sounds like to me, thats how they felt the rules should have went, not that it was actually mandatory. If the person quoted them properly. Thats why I mentioned you don't hear TJ emphasize where the drop couldn't be. The fact that they weren't the only team that did that and that team didn't get DQ'd and thats probably why Darrell liked Devin's tweet.

Didn't Leroy also say him and kaycee got to go twice since she supposedly fell off the first time? People have selective hearing. What this comes down to is the competitors they don't like won and they're looking for anything to discredit the win. That's just my personal opinion, not trying to start anything with anyone.

Personally, I didn't realize Lee/Kam also talked about it-so I didn't see it. But maybe. Thats interesting that they got to go again after she fell off, after all the other DQ's. You would think that would be a DQ. If he did say that, then I see why they were suggesting a do-over with Big T and CT, if leroy and Kaycee did one. I agree with the rest of what you said.
I didn't want to quote so people don't have to suffer through scrolling lol. But my friend saw a tweet where someone said Leroy said it either on his live or Patreon that they got a trial run or whatever and got to go twice.
Thats interesting. I think this season have had a few moments like that than people realize. Big T and CT are just the team able to win afterwards. For example, Imagine if Kam won trivia after being warned about two times for holding on to the side. (Which she got Dq'd for but it was after about 2 warnings). It could have been Darrell/Amber instead this day. Or Kaycee and Lee

When did he say that???? If that's true that's probably why josh asked for a do-over and the cast wanted big t/ct to do a do-over to
The same person accusing people of nitpicking what they believe is the same one trying rationalize or dismiss every single detail as to why production couldn't have possibly dropped the ball. Make it make sense.
There are probably some do-overs in dailies that are outside the control of the challengers. For example, if the helicopter pilot or speedboat driver move in a way that forces the team to fail, then maybe they get a do-over while Josh and Devin just missed their rope. It could also be they were low on fuel or who knows what. A daily that involves a speed-boat and helicopter isn't going to be the most precise.
Nah, I said a long time ago that production probably didn't care much about the drop zone and thats why you don't even hear TJ mention it when talking about the rules. And thats what I am still saying especially after realizing others went past the zone too and didn't DQ and agreed with Devin.

Yeah that does make sense. I want to say Josh and Devin seemed eligable for a do-over but I guess maybe since Nany and Gabby had already got on the ropes successfully, they couldn't.
TKC, when I joined people didn't like me writing essays either lol.
I don't have a problem with it, you bring up points that are well thought out even if I disagree with them. It's nice to see compared to a lot of people here just talking nonsense.
I know most people on this thread hate Devin, but he explained the rules in depth on the most recent episode of the Reali-Tea podcast ( around the 1:21:00 mark). I'm sure most will say he's lying, but the details he provided added up and it didn't sound as if he made it up on the spot.

He said it on his patreon. What that person left out is Leroy and Kaycee's ropes weren't evenly aligned to where Kaycee's rope was higher than his that her body wasn't on it that made her fall allowing them to have a do-over. But thought it was strange Devin wasn't allowed when his was too far to reach. Josh on the other hand I believe deserve that DQ since there wasn't any technical difficulties for him being goofy lol.
Also, Darrell and Amber B didn't miss the drop zone. Darrell dropped at a perfect timing just at the buoy with Amber B behind him.

Thanks, same here. You haven't made me hate Darrell lmao. I am a sagittarius, I can debate all day long with someone and not get angry, as long as nobody is being ugly.

Devin is saying that the rules were you can hang on as long as you can but if you go back and watch TJ explain the rules, he says hang on as long as you can into the dropzone and the graphic on the TV says land in dropzone.
I don't think anyone is necessarily lying but they at the minimum interpretated the rules differently.

Agreed. And I mean either way it clearly wasn't a strict enough rule that warranted any DQs. Another team did the same as Big T and CT and others landed right at the end of the drop zone.

IDK. The one team you mentioned IMO fell right on the edge but was still in bounds whereas Big T/CT's drop past the buoys was pretty egregious. The only way you can justify not DQing them is if you believe Devin's narrative. Again, I'm not saying he's lying but clearly other people heard the rules differently. Personally, I would think more teams would have held on longer if they thought they could drop closer to the platform. Regardless, production has always been inconsistent with their rules to the point where some players have learned to take advantage of it.
If they won the shady elimination doesn't do favors for just CT it also helped Darrell immensely I mean he was being blocked out for his skull just like Ct so whose to say he would have ever gotten another chance
rhe others aren't stupid... they did not want Darrell and ct in a final
So Bill Simmons does a challenge podcast for the Ringer
Listened to it a second time and they took out like 2 minutes in the middle when they started joking about Lolo and her time in the olympics, it's just dead air now and it wasn't like that before
Must have to do w the DQ and MTV told them to take it out

We still don't know how Darrell got down there lol. He needed it but how

We are talking in circles now and neither side is budging. I think we should move on now.

On Toris podcast her and Big T talked about how good CT would look on a pole and Tori was like I would take a bite of that. Lmao
