That assumption is Devin keeps having the ability to throw them in. Devin was absolutely correct in wanting to throw in CT against Josh. It was his only real chance to have a legit ally that may have the power to protect him.
Also, 90% of this board always continually talks about how CT's old, fat, out-of-shape, blah, blah, blah until he wins then they act as though everyone should have targeted the old, fat, out-of-shape man they hated on because he won.
The reality is Devin was right and people just don't like it would have benefited CT

I don't think Devin was trying to save Darrell, CT yes. But I think Darrell was just flying under his radar. Technically Darrell almost went in last night, since they never know for sure what would happen at elimination (hence why next episode is suddenly a double). So Darrell almost just went in and it was gonna be against Cory. And appearently he lost to Cory this season...
The only tough competitiers he was saving is CT and Nam. But he also had Darrell, Fessy, Cory to get rid of and they were def on his chopping block.
