so stop casting them and actually cast real threats worth a million dollars. cast actual athletic freaks from top to bottom not just a Token like Nam/Theo once in a while and old geezers like CT wouldn't touch a final. let's really move the needle
Yes i dont understand how they clinch to their favs this much when they award them this much money upfront and usually make twists that hugely benefits them (this season was another example) and just casting athletic freaks does not guarantee you a win, huge threats, puzzles and strategic moves are a big part of this which also doesnt make sense why the shove it down our throat with the whole 5th major sport bs. Realtively normal and semi-athletic people who would betray friends and not care about their image are whats needed the most. People that appreciate the opportunities for this much money.

It remains the question if the shows in the beginning were actually better because of the people involved getting together or just the overall atmosphere. Retrospectively, the shows and episodes were pretty boring tbh and If back in the day, this was about a million dollar, you would have had many more people training hard and stop taking this as a summer camp. It wasnt about the money, but about the cast and they were all young, wild and free so to speak but as all of them got older, responsibilities got larger and their moves had big financial consequences, i feel like and hope the OG show will show that it doesnt matter how they were before, there wont be a summer camp atmosphere with this much money on the line even with people from the old seasons.
There's no reason why Natalie calling out people after her elimination win, Ashley having her usual meltdown, and Liv going off on Amber M and Mechie shouldn't have been shown. Its ridiculous especially when fans hear about this stuff during filming but MTV doesn't want to show it.
Natalie got punished for a incident we didn't even see on TV lmao the editing is just very inconsistent. They don't know if they wanna be a reality show or a sport

They had to replace one of the beds and she got fined. But people get fined all the time on these shows so I don't think it was that big a deal. On the Ruins Evan got fined for peeing of a balcony.
personally i don't care if they want to be more competitive, i get it that's fine but if that's the case why leave girls like Brehanna as alternates? why not cast Cydney from Survivor, why not try and get JJ from Ninja Warrior or James Jean Louis from Titan Games, why not cast from the damn obstacle course races you said you were casting from.
Go all the way or don't, but don't cast messy******* from dating shows and then when they do what they're here for you cut it from the show.
They started to lean more towards the messy drama aspect when they brought AYTO cast members into the fold. Bloodlines and Rivals 3 had a producer from Bad Girls Club but people really didn't care for those seasons or the direction the show was going and its largely shifted back in the other direction since with Justin Booth taking over again. It makes some of these people like Amber M, Kayleigh, Angela, etc. odd casting choices that don't really fit the direction the show is going for now.
Wasn't it said that Big T has a crush on Joseph but he was looking elsewhere? Did I remember that incorrectly or is she just trying to flip the script in her confessionals? Either way, I'm here for the Big T spotlight

Honestly, CT is playing a great game during this episode--is it an accurate portrayal? Who knows but based on the edit it sure seems like he earned it.
