Agreed. Mark just wants a show to make him relevent again, whether he's a cast member or host, he's going to make it about him as much as he can. Wouldn't even be shocked if he tried to put his name in the show's title, which would obviously get rejected

Not really, there's almost no scenario where this gets better ratings than the actual challenge. If MTV doesn't see the need to cast many OG's now I don't really see that changing. at best a few old schoolers do well & are entertaining during the OG show and they get put on a normal season, or someone who hasn't wanted to do the show gets interest in doing it again after the mini season, like Evelyn or Rachel

He has been begging to get on the show for the past year. But that's his own fault he was called for the ruins and declined. Now it has been over a decade since his show, he older and Married. Never was even entertaining to begin with so it would be really hard for him to get on.

MTV have try to sell nostalgia with Jersey Shore, Lindsay Lohan and the hills none has necessarily work the same way they though they were going despite them having a bigger fan base/engagement than all this "OGs"
I know it wont get the ratings, but if it delievers on drama, competition and characters, maybe the people here can be used on the regular one. And For 40 it seems tjat a bigger theme might be appropriate.

I mean, on Sexes 2 the men dominated so I think those "vibes" may not have actually been who he is as opposed to what the game was. Dan wasn't ever one of my favorites but I would have loved to have seen him on The Gauntlet or Inferno because I think he would have been a top performer.

Netflix is way bigger than CBS AA though, if they put recent seasons on there I think it would add a pretty decent fanbase to the show. There isn't much reality tv on there but it seems most of the reality shows they do have were decently popular (Love is Blind, The Circle & Too Hot too Handle)
