That's what I'm assuming was their deal. They were probably not official again (yet?), so in his mind, it wasn't technically cheating, whereas whatever happened still understandably hurt her.
Kyle said on his facebook that it was freezing, that it was pitch black all the time and that the days felt like weeks. (he posted the same video with a different caption). Sounds similar to the bunker, just better living conditions.
I was always wondering what kind of challenges they would have with filming there since my limited knowlege of iceland is that they dont get much sunlight around this time.
