People are always saying some challengers should take a season off.  I see why they don't.  

exactly, if I was getting 80k just to show up twice a year best believe I would do back to back seasons

Swaggy said he got 25k for coming on the challenge, so I'm sure some rookies make more than others.

also wondering at one point if they made it to the half way point they made extra. So does someone like Nany make 80k total for the whole show? Or does she make 80k for showing up and a bonus for making it half way? The pay is confusing.

This season i am sure Natalie from Survivor is one of the most well payed rookie since she is a big name.

She didn't drop out, she lost the "purge" because she ate very slowly.She might have trouble eating in the final if she gets there.
