After the first mission, the cast thought they would have a night to think about partners. TJ made them pick partners ASAP and told them to pick who they want.... Kam & Ashley both ran to CT, but CT wanted Ashley - which likely started the Ashley/Kam “rivalry”.

The players left without a partner are called “rogue agents” and are ineligible to compete in the next elimination until they have a partner.
So what's the point of voting anonymous when the daily winners can see the votes and then tell people who voted for who.
They can blackmail people or lie about people voting a certain way. I was told the a daily winner snitch on someone about the way 2 of his "allies" voted lol
