I agree but also who cares? I'd rather they spend their money on people who are gaurenteed to bring it for a season or two rather than have people like Josh, Kyle and Nany who are getting paid more every season to do the same shit over and over. I mean would we go back and not have Da'Vonne come on the show if we knew she'd only do 2 seasons? **** no, she was awesome on those 2 seasons, worry about the future later and make sure you're putting out a good show each season. Even if they are trying to cast for the future they can end up with a WOTW situation where they probably thought those rookies would be the future and now most of them are gone for being problematic

You're overthinking it IMO--they reveal it once they confirm things---sometimes that may take an extra day or two with one of them. Especially this season.

If they where smart enough they wouldnt give nam and Lolo a chance to even win a red skull and gatekeep them from all eliminations. I really hope there is a limited number of skulls this season and not just allow them all to have a shot like in Total madness.

Fair, I was just trying to figure out if they were moving quicker due to COVID precautions? Cause last season it took 18 days after departure to figure out the first 4 out... and this season it took 13-14 days (which includes the 2-3 days that they quarantined in Iceland).

I would bet anything this season ends up w like 4-5 people of each gender without red skulls and TJ Telling them either, "Bye bye" (if its Josh and etc who production isnt fond of) or 1 final challenge for one final spot for like 8 people.
Also this is a great format idea. Would also work for a Rivals like season with same *** pairs.
I just watched Nam Vo's episode of Ultimate Beastmaster and I'm excited to see him on this season. He is probably going to have all the guys scared to go against him. Lol

you make a point, it's better to have entertaining people that will give mtv their money's worth even if they aren't going to be there for a long time, but i feel like it isn't the challenge without some mainstays that are consistant in showing up for many seasons. it's not like they can just keep wes and ct until they're in thier mid-40s, they have to eventually find young people so that they can end up becoming permanant regulars and become the faces of the show. the only person i feel like truly has that star quality to carry on the torch is kam. the invasion-era people are the last good bach of rookies they found that have been able to have a long lasting impact. almost everyone after that has been dropped or stopped wanting to do he challenge.

Whether you're being targeted or not is irrelevent with the red skull twist. Josh could turn into a puppet master and play the best political game of all time but he would still have to win an elimination to get there

For all we know the final can include "twists" where you can switch partners at checkpoints (let's say you reach one stage before your partner) or the final ends up being individual or FA style w multiple swapping of partners.
To worry about "weak/strong duos" is stupid. The goal should be to get your red skull and make the final. Period. Once you have a red skull, it's more likely beneficial to have a strong partner so you avoid elimination theoretically but I guarantee the final will have some major "Double agent" twists to test partner loyalty, even before the inevitable "share or split" with the partner.
I'd love to see them do a Prisoner's Dilemma where the winning pair individually decides to "share or steal". If both share they split it, if one steals one splits the stealer gets it all, if both steal no one gets it. And then just put that money into the next seasons' challenge lol.

I think that these three couples have the best chance of not going to the elimination several times, because I think Natalie and Darrell will be sent to the elimination several times during the season, like Dee, Rogan and Johnny. They have a lot of friends in the house, and a great social game

I don't agree, but Nani,Josh,Kyle,and Melissa were left in TM at the end, and strong games were fought with each other.You need to look at the situation, there is no rule here.CT, Tori, Wes,Jordan-all lost, because they went early in the elimination, and the weak players fought each other at the end of the season.
