Why would David use his power week one of having it to maybe help save day or bay from going home when now on week 2 of having it he is already at risk of going on the block and needs to use it to protect himself? While I wish he had used it last week just for the drama, he actually made a smart move in my mind. You never know what could happen while you're on the block even if he is just "a pawn".

Xmas was anti Day/Bay because Dani/Nicole were feeding her anti DayBay rhetoric for weeks. Nicole especially because of a joke Bay made (a joke that Dani also made but she only played victim when Bay did it.)
