The only way to do it right is if you win, you don't go in until everyone has their skull and that's not happening. That's why this twist is stupid.

Idk I think it can be done right. Have 6 for each gender given out. If you have 2 skulls you're safe til there's only red skull people remaining. That's potentially 12 people out and 12 people qualified for the final, but probably less cause there's probably been people who have been in elim more than once. Then at that point, have a purge of everyone remaining for the last 2 skulls. That's 6-8 people fighting for 2 skulls so 4-6 go home. Then have the qualified people have elims until it's 4 of each gender. Whole season around 16-17 eps per usual.
