My point in the previous post before that was Wes shouldn't target Darrell til MID GAME. He made the exact same mistake in FM2.
By taking out the biggest threat too early, Wes becomes the biggest threat even w all his minions way too early. You'll have people like Kyle and Leroy targeting him, when instead you keep a big target in like Darrell so you stay hidden.
Since you brought up Survivor ,it's exactly like Jeremy's meat shield strategy in Second Chances.
We all know the seasons rigged for Wes anyway, so even if they both made the finals, production would probably make the final all above heights with a thousand puzzles and trivia on entrepreneurial start up companies. We saw them rig Invasion for CT and both times Darrell went out against CT/Tony it was in heights related challenges, but that's a whole different topic I won't get into.
If production was smart, they'd want a Black person winning the Challenge anyway and we damn well know Leroy is never winning shit.

KNOT SO FAST was up a very large jungle gym like pyramid where the primary knot tieing was above many feet. For someone who has a fear of heights that was some major BS.
