If I was someone that was already cracking after 3 in a row I wouldn't do this one. The calls will still come in the future but lets be real with Covid19 shit is about extra stressful. I don't see them exploring the country, going to bars or clubbing because the chances of them allowing 8-32 cast members + crew filming are very low. Plus, production wouldn't want cast members to have contact with other ppl or touch stuff that isn't sanitized at bars because the chances of someone getting infected and spreading it would be very high. Last season as horrible it was of them they still were allow to have some bar days and stuff out of the bunker in a different environment.
They will have to create a bubble for them and probably just throw random house parties for them which would make it harder for them to disconnect from the game lol
I'm going to be the devils advocated here and say it: Kaycee's thing with Nany and his Bayleigh drama were far more interesting and had more impact in the season than anything Marlon did in his last TV gig (ex on the beach).
Bassed on potential I get we all want Marlon, but EOTP was tragic and he didn't do anything to deliver entreteining at all. Instead, Kaycee give them some petty drama and alleged hookups, and also is a physical threat.
I dont like it, but I get why they would call one and not the other.
Those kind of secind level MTV shows were Challenge stars are sendt in their off-seasons seem to be a way of measuring. If you are entretaining, you will get called back (Cory, Nelson, Laurel, Kailah in the Lindsay Lohan show...) if you are boring, is a career ending (Jemmye, Marlon, Devin).

Tragic cast and by not bringing back people like Kailah Cara Paulie and other polarizing characters they're losing potentially great story lines. Instead they bring back people who have no story line and have to create from scratch

Kaycee didn't do anything other than be a pawn in a flirty relationship. That drama was centered on Nany, Aneesa and Bayleigh. Kaycee literally sat there and did nothing through the whole thing. She was nothing but a tool for the drama to occur among the real characters, she herself didn't provide any drama. For the remaining 17? episodes, she essentially was not there so there's really nothing to argue here.
The fact that Marlon didn't back down from CT and CT almost repeated history once again was far more stressful and drama-filled in the matter of a few minutes than Kaycee's whole little thing. Marlon also being one of the only bi people to ever appear on the show and in his hyper-masculine homophobic worldis also more interesting imo.
well if you did watch total madness, you'd know that she essentially was used to explain the rules of the dailies and other than that and the one episode she was featured with the Nany thing, was never seen or heard from. she had less confessionals than people who were gone in the first half of the season lol
She also didn't even compete that well. Kailah threw her eliminaiton and she did ok at best on the final
Oh if she's narrating then I want her back--I believe there should be a narrator whether it's Sarah or Jemmye or anyone but yeah sounds like she was boring

She's not narrating ****, she's just doing what they do in BB where they explain the challenge again halfway through

Right that's narration not commentary. She's narrating.

Sure, I'm just saying she shouldn't be given any sort of credit for it since it doesn't bring any entertainment. I'd rather have like Nelson explain the rules completely wrong or something lol

Lol... she definitely wasn't narrating like Sarah or Jemmye or Tori. It was more like "we need to give Kaycee one confessional this episode to acknowledge her existence but she's so boring so let's just let her explain some of the rules of the daily after TJ literally just said them".

I'm not saying it's entertainment but it serves a role. And, no, Nelson should never explain anything to anyone

Gotcha--and you make a great point--with Tori there we don't really need that role. John and Analyse can probably handle it as well
Whoever is running that company should've stepped years ago because the longer this company runs the worst it gets. Who wants to watch a show with Kaycee Josh Jozea Jenny Analyse Morgan Tori Johnny Aneesa Nany Fessy Leroy Wes Asaf ? Like this cast is DRY
Turbo lost his cool his **** self. Jordan was needling him but Turbo is a grown *** adult. production was gonna let him back in the house but he kept saying he would hurt Jordan - so he left them no choice but to send him home.
good riddance
preach. Turbo had his moment, I don't mind never seeing him back on this show.

Ashley & Nany hated the conditions for 35 why the **** would they do 36 smh

Tbh she had a lot of potential. She was in the biggest fight in RW history and despite "not doing anything" was the center of a lot of drama on Exes II for the first half of that season if you rewatch it. Yeah her and Johnny's story was old but it was EXES after all lol
I still think that a healthy Leroy and Averey win Rivals III. And if she had any partner other than Johnny or Jay on Exes 2, she gets way farther.
Only if they managed to get Johnny and Sarah out which they wouldn't because Leroy is loyal to a fault.
That's why I don't understand people saying Averey was overrated. She was a pretty central character on Exes 2 for the first half and then we never saw her again because of Leroy. Marlon was a background character whose only memorable moments were wrestling a drunk CT in the pool and hooking up with a guy
They should just get a house someone in the USA, that's in rural country, they can build their crazy missions in the flat lands and let people live in a nice bubble for a season. I swear we'd get relaxed cast members who were having fun and still bring drama without them being miserable. Kind of like the early days
The majority of them preferred to go out not necessarily just bar but to restaurants, wine tasting and stuff. Instead of being stuck in a house that becomes like prison and dirty fast.

The had weekends off when they could explore around the town without the cameras with covid/how strict production is that wouldn't be the case in 2020 lol

i mean i get what youre saying, its more fun for them. And I'm sure theyre a bit stir crazy, especially this year. But IMO, much better content comes from the house parties rather than going out to bars from a viewers perspective
Wait, someone catch me up, is Marlon speculated now? At least he's a real worlder who hasn't been on for most of a decade so lets count our blessings! But Ex on the Peak has soo many good potential castmembers that I hope he isn't the only one. I will be SHOOK if Adore shows up

THIS IS WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE WITH SURVIVOR!! It's my favorite show but I hated last season and the fact that they never leave Fiji anymore. I would have loved a wild west theme because its literally right there but why production would rather cancel the season instead of try someone local and new is beyond me

So Big Brother with more alcohol and eliminations?

Money
and that's part of the problem. If this show is the only thing paying your bills that's a issue because the challenge won't run forever. Too many people have made this into a career which why this show isn't as fun anymore. This shit feels like a ESPN spinoff sport show

I love y'all but y'all gotta let the Avery hope go... it's been 8 seasons and she's no Veronica....

I never complain about the challenge, but this is a ******* tragic cast.
Marlon >>>>> Jozea
Devin was boring on EOTB? Lol
This is what happens when you lock your cast in a bunker for a month. Not everyone is desperate enough to go through that shit again
