While I wouldn't past production to rig things to give Bananas an edge, I still find it unthinkable that Jenny and Kyle would sacrifice 500K guaranteed in order to appease production to give Bananas a victory and that 500K. Kyle's aware that spoilers get leaked out and news of his alleged affair would reach his gf. Any deal that he could make to keep that from being aired is not worth 500K and also pointless. There are no possible better benefits that production could offer me on future challenges to sacrifice 500K when 1) I may not be attend to them; 2) I could lose and not win any money. It's the reason that people take the cash option when winning the lottery over the annuity.
