i think the story went was that they both said yes to the initial call. The theme got leaked to the cast and Preston said no to the second call. I think Ryan even did some angry post about it.
Trisha from Sydney, Cara & Keri from Chicago weren't on that list or Brynn from Vegas, Julie from New York. Cancel it. Katrina and Bryan would have been great additions though.

For me Theo from bad blood I though he was going to be someone with a lot of heart/fan fav, Bruno and Sylvia despite being on 3 being decent/being on such a hated alliance/making the final once for some reason she is very forgettable to myself/ a lot of viewers.
Ayiiia is another one she was everything on Real World drama and hookup. Then on cutthroat pretty chill for some reason I only remember that she had Asthma.

Yes, they look at age and it plays a big part for rookies. The cast in their mid 30s debuted when they were in their 20s and have spent years doing this show. They like casting people in their mid 20s-late 20s now days for rookies.
The only reason Kaycee was cast at 33 is because she is a minority that won Big Brother they want diversity and Jenny was because that season they wanted to have a strong muscular girl representing the UK to go against Cara/Laurel/Ninja since most of the girls on the UK side were weak.
They dont think someone debuting in their mid 30s is a great investment on the long run, which they are not wrong since the chances of them moving on after 1 or 2 seasons are very high.
