Agreed. One thing I enjoyed this season is how much pre-live shows people we were invested in. Going into the top 40, we knew like 30 people well so that makes editing unpredictable
Yeah I’m really disappointed the season wasn’t delayed. I understand why they have to do this, but watching glorified YouTube performances is going to suck. Add in the great talent this year and the fact they are making big cuts every episode. Not gonna be much of a season.

Nah, I actually slightly like this better too. Ita different and very unique. I think shows more each of the contestant's personality. Imo, Some of them who I think was alright singers in their past performance sounds so much better this episode. Idk if it has to do EQ or editing in the voice

I mean, they have to submit it a week before ( at least for this episode. They had promotional material out for a 'historic' episode about four days before it actually aired, and all the contestants were in their outfits that they performed in etc. ) I like it better because you can film yourself hundreds of times, but the best will win, and there wont be any 'robberies' in terms of someone executing something poorly, because they choose what they do and don't submit.
Unless if they perform 2 times seperately for the Judges and for the Video they submited for the Audience

I didn’t enjoy it at all, I mean I’ve been watching these people put videos on Instagram for awhile so it felt like more of that. I am glad though others are enjoying it, I really wanted these kids to not have their idol season wasted.
My biggest worry is the ridiculously large cuts, I wanna see tons of performances from these people and it’s gonna fly by instead.
this is a relly strong Top 11!! The Judges Save thing was dumb tho since this was the only week they were allowed to use it.... Of course they're gonna use it lol

I agree, even though I love Makayla, it predictable she'll most likely be booted out next week
I love her as a person and her story, happy she won but I don't know her identity as a musician. All her song choices just seemed like really good karaoke. I hope she is successful though. I think anyone from this season shpuld be allowed to audition next year too. This format was bs.
I'm excited for them to go live from the contestants homes next week! this will be a super unique and historic event!
I like a lot of these people so I wish they got to do a normal season. They are gonna be cutting so many at a time. I’m excited for it though.

This is a really good group, I feel awful the are getting shafted this season. I would be furious if I were them.
