I'm just ready for casting to begin for 36 so we can just move on from this disaster of a season
I feel like I say this every other season. Last good outcome was Turbo winning. Johnny winning has soured this entire season I can't even enjoy Jenny winning. Let's hope 36 not only has flavor but a good cast

I don't mind it when it's actually a good, enjoyable season and the winners had to fight for it.. Free Agents is one of my favorite seasons to re-watch, even the final is entertaining to watch regardless of the winners.

But people give John too much power in dictating if they enjoy the show or not.
It's hard to enjoy when he literally has had to fabricate storylines like the notes on Vendettas that entire episodes are wasted on. That's what happens when he stays too long on a season, he has a million confessionals and actual good confessional people and storylines are put on the backburner for his BS. So yeah, it's a little harder to enjoy when he makes it far.
I think what a lot of you haters on this site always forget is it's hard for you. But a lot of people outside vevmo actually are fans of Bananas & enjoy him being on for a majority of the season. If you actually paid attention on the seasons of the challenge champs vs stars. Bananas & Ct were the most known challengers. A lot of the stars were actual fans of Bananas & even Jimmy Fallon on his tonight show claimed to be a huge fan of Bananas. It just goes to show besides the people on vevmo the dude has tons of fans everywhere who want him to win.
Hence why we call them "casuals". People who watch the show nonchalantly are going to recognize him because he's been on practically 2/3 of the seasons at this point. These people also aren't that into the show where they don't know how horrible he is as a human. I mean, subjectively we can dislike him for whatever reason. But objectively someone who acts like he's above the show and fabricates storylines because he "thinks like a producer", breaks the rules several times (adderall, etc) and gets away with it, earns his wins by making behind the scenes deals that you're not supposed to, sexually assaulting girls, belittling females, mental health, etc. He's your all American ****** bag and most people who are more than just a casual viewer and know about his actions hate him, hence why most on Vevmo hate him. The more people get into the show and the more they learn about him, the more they usually hate him.

i'd hate to be some sort of challenge hipster but the majority opinion of this show kinda sucks.
i really wish casuals actually understood the fact that he climbed the challenge ranks throughout the years by being a third wheel to JEK and also bullying his way to the top in order to get power. seeing the praise he's probably going to get this season with an underdog edit he'll probably get will sour a lot of the season for me and others

I don't think they realize how diverse their audience really is though. Most of the shows are dedicated to white families and white social circles. I know Non-Caucasian viewers kinda feel alienated. Most of their actual ethnic programming has been either removed or moved to VH1. ☕️

Most of us just want CT's smelly self to retire since he hasnt contributed much onto the show in recent seasons (besides that elim against Darrell and winning Invasion & WOTW2). Bananas has cheated in finals to win and wouldn't be anything big if Evan/Kenny continued. Ashley's won fair and square each time and hasn't had an episode of hers get cancelled for allegations of sexual assault. She's def said some mean stuff that crossed the line (buying Cory's family and body shaming Jaime) and I never gave her a pass on that but she's not identical to John.
That fabricated storyline has was indeed cringe worthy, but he's just a fraction of what vendettas was. I enjoy most seasons despite John, lol. But obviously, to each their own.
