Almost finished episode 8, sucks to see Miranda go, I really liked her, though I'm not sure that's a popular opinion. Dumb move by Joey to not save her when she was putting him at the top of the ratings(which he was probably aware of), where as him and Chris seem to be putting eachother mid table every time. Weird him saying they had such a good connection when he saved Sammie over her basically for being the girl he liked more.

Edit: Finished. The whole Sean reveal is super fishy, I was wondering why she had pictures of her real self in her album when she came in. Pretty sure she was basically planted into the show so they could have this whole guilty catfish reveal thing
And I'm committed to rooting for Joey to come through in the end now, with Sammie as my number 2. If the final ranking is 4 or 5 OG's like I'm expecting now then I think they have the best chances to win, everyone's gonna rank Shooby low since they'll see him as a threat

I'm pretty meh on it, it's gonna add some humor but if they needed to do a twist they should have had the two of them play the mother and then she could have talked like herself but have him help her speak to younger people and people may actually suspect a catfish She really doesn't have anything to add gameplay wise since he fits in fine anyways, if anything she's a liabilitity if Ed isn't comfortable saying certain things to others while she's there, she's basically there to cook him dinner. It was clearly just done because they didn't have much going on for the last few contestants coming in, same reason they probably planted Sean in for her reveal. Poor Sammy though she's the only non catfish girl and there's a bunch of dudes with no personalities that are all probably trying to flirt with her all day(besides Shooby & Chris)
I think the OG's have some secret pact going on, there really is no other reason for Joey picking Chris over Miranda, and it's going to make for a predictable few episodes
Just caught up on the second batch of episodes, and I'm really bummed to see Karyn/Mercedeze go, she was my favorite. I think it's pretty unfair that Antonio got to leave such a damning message as he left, I've never seen anyone get to do that before. I think it would've been one thing if he shared suspicions about a catfish and called someone out like that, but to share info about the person he went to see, even if he didn't name them, was giving away way too much; there's only so many people it could've been in general, but then narrow down the liklihood of who he'd go see, and he may as well have named her.
Alex/Adam is annoying and came on way too strong. Seaburn is laying it on way too thick with the shy/innocent act, I can't believe more people aren't calling that out. I can understand not assuming he's a catfish, but I'd definitely think that shyness was a huge strategy.
The mom/son duo is a weird choice. They did a duo twist in S2 of the UK version, but it was giving two players that had been blocked together, a second chance at the game by being a catfish - that the show chose and forced them to do - together. I think it would've made more sense if the mom/son duo were putting their heads together to be a catfish, because as is, I don't really see what the mother is adding here? Other than giving him company. He's just being himself, so it seems kinda pointless.
I was disappointed the portrait game was so nice and tame. I guess that's kind of expected since it wasn't anonymous iirc, so people weren't going to get too savage, and there isn't really much drama going on at the moment, but that game has been pretty dramatic with call outs in the UK version, so it was a bit of a bummer.
The Sean twist/reveal should be interesting, this is a first for the series, which makes me think it's kinda staged. Nobody has ever been able send pictures over chat before or just randomly change their profile pictues like that. Why does she even have a picture of her real self, when she was supposed to be using her friend's pictures? I would've bought a picture of her friend and her together being in her album (and her uploading it to her profile next chance she got), but judging by the preview, she sends a solo picture of herself over the chat, which has never been done before. She could have discussed it with production and they allowed it for the dramatic moment, but still feels weird.
Hate that it's almost over, but since it's probably fairly cheap for Netflix to produce, hopefully there's another, longer season.

We have 9 players now and only 4 episodes left so I'm hoping these episodes are longer otherwise we are going to have a really rushed end game and will probably bring this season down.
I don't think the new cast is that that bad. Like you say normal white people but you really think that Adam is a normal white dude? Like why is everything about white people? If your unaware the game started with less white people then colored people. This is why I hate this site y'all turn everything into race
