I finally watched... my questions

1. how was Alana so dumb to put her modeling stuff in her bio.... like you really don't think you will be a target.

2. How does the show end? Like people leave they bring new people in so how does it end?

*Insert a dad joke here about The Cirlce never ends*

The show in the UK ended when it was the final 4 and theres 1 last ranking

They'll keep bringing in new people to replace those that got blocked (so that there's always 8 people playing) until the alloted time frame nears the end. So probably once the final week starts, they'll announce that there will be no new players entering when someone gets blocked, so then in the final week they start narrowing it down to a final 4.

Im scared that the end game is going to feel really rushed. This only has 12 episodes while the UK version had 18 episodes for season 1 and 22 episodes for season 2.

Agreed. Kind of like how Love Island USA was super rushed since there was like half the episodes. We'll see how it goes but rushing is probably the hardest part of UK reality shows moving to the US

This show is so good, I’m here for it

I feel like Karyn would do just as well as Mercedeze and even better. Her point is right about people judging based off looks but that only matters in the first round. But as shown with Shubham getting last isn't the end of your fate.

The catfishes rn to me are the most entertaining part of the show. Flirting is such a telltale sign that someone is a catfish and saying that you're taken may make them trust you more. I loled @ Seaburn saying that Rebecca is bi-curious, he was smart to say she wasn't outright ******** though.

First few moments in I was going to turn this shit right off... but now I'm hooked

Seaburn keeps dropping things that he should be clocked for and exposed yet they think freaking Antonio and Sammie are catfish LMAO

I love this show. Cant wait til the new episodes drop

Almost finished the second season of the UK version(couldn't find a link for season 1). Such a different game. Us version are already talking alliances meanwhile UK was basically a popularity contest where those not in with the most common influencers were waiting to get picked off until close to the end where they finally banded together. I love the all strategy way more.

Also I think being a catfish is a dumb as hell plan, I guess Seaburn and Karyn may not have gotten cast otherwise though. It's just too hard to have genuine conversations when you're constantly worried about slipping up, plus all the games are designed around outing catfish

For Seaburn more than Karyn, I think this applies. Karyn has the benefit of being the same gender as the person she's being a catfish. Where Seaburn has to channel being a girl.

which he was absolutely horrible at in the first 2 episodes lmao. He's still not all that convincing but he's sneaking his own personality in there which is pretty likable and timid. Which is why he's ranking high, but when it comes time to actually play and try to win idk if he's gonna be able to come out on top

Honestly I think I'd be suspicious of both of them just from the fact that I wouldn't expect a US show to cast two AA women who don't have big personalities out of 4 women.

Wym by big personalities tho?

watching season 2 of the UK show and the live show format is hella annoying. for the person looking for season 1 DM me if you want the link i used to watch the show, i by far prefered it to season 2 so far (im only on episode 4 right now)

Like Chris or Joey, or even the real Karyn to a lesser extent. Its pretty easy to understand why they got cast compared to someone who's staying kind of low key and their only real moves are flirting in private chats

Meeeeeeee

Karyn is my fav, shooby is a close second, and the 2nd boot(we doing spoilers or naw) was robbed

2nd boots problem was they took everything at face value and didnt seem to make deeper connections with people.  they took shooby saying they were good when they were an influencer as proof they would be goodd moving forward without trying to strengthen the relationship at all after the first boot (at least as far as we saw, i guess the edit could be weird)

I'm also confused on the spoiler policy in this thread, I'm pretty sure there's already spoilers farther up tbh. Agree on the robbed boot.

Shooby is cool, everything he says sounds so forced and on the nose. I can't tell if it's because he just doesn't interact with a large amount of people in his real life or if he's just doing what he thinks makes him look good

Woo Sammie gonna get draining as hell if she begins to act like how she is on social media like girl relax you're on a Netflix show we have to go out of our way to search for lmao

I haven't seen the second season yet to be able to compare the two, but I've seen the first, and there was definitely talk about alliances and working together and getting people on your side to vote together and stuff. Not as early as the US version has started, but towards the middle, there was definitely efforts to be strategic, both in terms of ratings and working with others.

I've heard bad things about S2, which has me reluctant to start it, but the wait for the next batch of US episodes is hard, so I might start it regardless.

I changed the thread title. The spoiler policy going forward will be that anything that has "aired" is fair game. So, the first four episodes thus far and the next four on Wednesday.

I think if people want a general discussion about the show without spoilers, the Reality Show Generic thread is the place and if people want to talk endgame spoilers beyond what has been released, a new thread should be started.

Ok perfect. I hated Alana and glad she got eliminated first. I was 100% with Sammie on that, the pretty girl clique was annoying and dumb gameplay lol.

I need Joey GONE. I can’t think of who he reminds me of but that man has gotta blast like yesterday fr fr

Unfortunately I don't see Joey going anywhere, in fact I think he'll be one of the people in the last ranking. No shot of winning but I don't see Shooby letting him get voted out and I see him ranking high for a while.

Sammie will probably get blindsided tbh but again we haven't seen the new arrivals and if they were smart. They'd just team up with their rankings to ensure at least one of them is influencer

A Sammie blind side would be lit.

So should we expect the new episodes to drop at midnight?
