I just watched the last episode and she was so far off on that sudoku that it was embarassing, honestly. Not Nicole Z not being able to count triangles embarassing but damn.
I didn't mind it. They ran a lot during that torch part, it just wasn't over distance, and the mud made it hard to run + they had to run with weight on them for a while. It wasn't much different from the other finals leading up to that and right after.
The problem is they go back and forth between those types and then the extreme / dangerous ones like on Exes or WOTW1.
Ok but she didn't, and then she nearly beat Laurel up the volcano in the next day
Because Zach took a 20-30 minutes rest when partnered with Laurel. It wouldn't even be close if it had been individual.
I like Nany as a person, she's a solid mid-tier competitor in dailies, but her one final showing only looked good because Laurel had an anchor at one point.

nany got the special ball on wow1 puzzle that was a key for the puzzle, literally the whole thing on paper and she still didnt finish first

And yeah Ashley finished the puzzle quick - it was a simple sudoku where they had over half it filled in already, including a full row so you could know the total you were adding to. Seriously, they only had to place 3 tiles lol. Nany had hers filled out at almost the same time as Ashley but not even slightly right.
