Nice news. Thanks V1. Hopefully these shows become less fake.
Plans are in the works to slowly move VH1 in another direction. New York's run is about over. Tough Love season 2 was announced last week and it will begin the march toward something new, although we will have to live through ILM 3 which is currently casting.
Thank god New York's 15 minutes are up. I literally looked at 5 minutes of her "New York goes to Work" show and turned the channel. I wonder if VH1 really thinks that they are fooling people. But I love me sum ILM.
Nice news. Thanks V1. Hopefully these shows become less fake.
I love how people complain about these shows being fake and yet most things on television in general is fake as well. Ironic much?
I love how people complain about these shows being fake and yet most things on television in general is fake as well. Ironic much?
Not really... When the networks tell people their reality shows are essentially documentaries and not scripted (story boarded, but without dialogue), then people will complain when they discover the near complete lie. A program offered up as pure fiction is what it is. Irony does not seem apt when defined as "the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning."

Wouldn't they be tampering with the "Game Show Act"? Or is it not listed as a game show? A while back there was a heated debate about the same thing, except with Big Brother. People were angry that Ally G and production was telling people secret things inside the confessional room.

As for BB, it is common knowledge from remarks by former "houseguests" that the Diary Room is just one vehicle the BB producers use to manipulate the game.

I can't get over IT's commentary on the final episode.."They dont think that im going to use my black powers?...Im going to kick their ***** today" hahaha for the 1st time I really liked IT but I felt as though he was reading what someone put infront of him..Either way I enjoyed that and I use that quote all the time..Well, that and the whole "Im going to use my superman powers" sh-pill

They're just game shows where their either competing for someone or Money. I don't remember VH1 ever saying that they're shows were real in anyway (and if they did they were lying most of the time). So was anyone really fooling anyone in the 1st place?

Research, research, research...

I'm watching this on Tubi after binging season 1

Absolutely hilarous. Heat trying to get Onyx to throw the mission but put him against Prancer in a boxing match, then getting upset he didn't throw. Buckwild throwing a fit about bring thrown in and then telling Leiline to quit so they can revote, Saaphyri and Buckwild manipulating her to even think about it to test her lfriendship/loyalty to them framing it as revenege if she leaves and Leilines emotional *** manipulating Heats ******* by hooking up with him to secure her bag. This w***ome gold reality *** television.

Back then for some reason I didn’t think she deserved the win. But after a rewatch recently I was like dang, she played the hell outta the game and deserved that W

Legend Saaphyri >>>>>>

at least she won Charm School

Becky and Saaphyri plan z, that’s all.

I wish I could back in time, make sure Ryan Jenkins was never associated with VH1 and let I love money run for multiple seasons like it deserved to.

I would have loved a I love money/the challenge crossover. And for Buddha to beat the shit out of CT

What could've been.... Sad Sad Sad

Especially that particular era of The Challenge too smh they needed people like Buddha, Saaphyri, Queen Hoopz, etc. to knock them down multiple notches.

not two black girls winning a challenge type show back to back. Where they doing that these days? Lol

Champs vs Stars was our best shot at getting the few people that are still relevant today Sad

Questions that need answers! But is exactly why the "of Love" Era will forever be the GOAT.
