Hating or loving Cara all you want but to me she is really constantly underpermoning during these finals even Vendettas and Bloodlines were closer than it should have been considering her oppo. She is doing great with politics and daily challenges and haas truly become like a female Bananas during Rivals and Rivals 3 where she is being protected / lucky with themes , partners who protect her and girls just scarred of calling her out. Not taking away from her performances overall but still in finals she is overrated.
Also if you start comparing Laurel. Laurel has had a pretty good real life job at a big brewing company as far as I know, sure both look to be mentally through tough times and have been, but Laurel is arranging a life after the challenge and that should be viewed much higher tbh.
She made a final with Marie and she beat guys on Vendettas and a guy/guy team on Bloodlines. Give respect where it is due. The biggest disappointments for her in finals were Rivals and Rivals 2 but losing to Evelyn and Emily S paired with Paula isn't shameful. Also, if you want to compare her to anyone it is probably Jenn. Jenn played the game but faced finals in which she never had a chance outside of possibly Fresh Meat 2.

yeah I don't understand where people are saying she's performing bad. I don't think they realize she was partners with Marie that one final, the only final she did "bad" in was this last one where she lost against athletes. I would love to see laurel in this same predicament.

When hatred of a person (other than John) becomes strong enough those that are in the middle and hate that person's persoanlity and/or that fact they never take a season off will defend the person being attacked. Cara's earned respect in terms of game. Hate her as a person all you want.

When Marie was locked in the cage and she was crying about not being able to throw a branch over (lol), when she was crying up on heights as if she hasn’t done 15 of these challenges with heights in every one. She was pretty awful herself lol

Who is Cara's new partner? She probably wouldn't have been tied to an alliance she was at the bottom of and could have played her own game which, historically, is better than Marie's game.

I think Ashley and Amanda were mocking her for the heights one and then went on to suck at it as well. Ashley has performed poorly on dailies tons of times too. And on Final reckoning I think the teams were being picked, and she was consistantly put on a bad team.

Nobody should deny Cara's abilities during daily challenges or the political part of the game, but final-wise she is not that great.Nobody can take away her wins and they were deserving and no fluke, but Bloodlines (she had the best bloodline hands down. Vince lacked brain to be competition) and Vendettas (only Zach was her opponent and her stamina / endurance should be higher than Zach's) were closer than it should have been on paper. Also CvsS1 she gassed out pretty bad. I expect her to be better especially the way she trains for these challenges and has had way more expericence than her opponents as has been doing them with no breaks basically.
Whatever happened on WotW should not happen again which was a complete disaster for her seriously. It has nothing to do with them being athletes (i mean Wes got third and second the first day). She was never able to just compete always *****ing always lamenting to the extreme, symptomatic that she lost almost all rounds even after she gained an advantage. She loses focus a lot of times during these finals. The last final was hard, pretty hard, but everytime they showed Cara, she was really struggeling mentally. Same thing happened on FR. If I would be Ninja, i would take Cara to a final again, she cracks under pressure wayy to much for my liking. This is not me hating on her, but watch those finals again and it becomes apparent that finals are not her strongest suit. Definitely not. She should be able to perform better considering how well she does outside those finals. If she can manange to be like those puzzle parts during those finals that she won that is her true potential.

Going into that season, I remember that Cara Maria was realllly hated by the cast and getting partnered with Marie and Theo ilenced her most vocal opponents and Marie did perform average and some even better than Cara.
Since Jordan was unfortunately only a red flag because he maybe just saw an elimination round, I belive it's similar than the Joss and Bear situation where Joss was said to be out after Bear but only went into an elimination round against Bear.
