It’s also hard for them to grasp the concept of casting good AYTO people. They’re capable of doing so but now we’re only kept to believe that only UK has talent.
Idris is really the best they could do? Wes and Josh must have both declined. Nicole and Georgia seem super close on SM, not really surprising after last season it makes sense to try to build her up as a new female face
i wonder if the bigger names from the Love Island franchise like Dani/Jack or Wes/Megan are declining or if the producers are trying to go for the less known ones that they see potential in.Idris, Georgia and Theo were not That relevant on Love Island.
I think Georgia recently said a bunch of her Love Island friends were interested in doing it after she did it, and I believe she specifically mentioned Gabby Allen wanted to. I don't see much point in going for 'potential' from love island when so many have already proven themselves as great tv characters, and it's not like anyone's gonna tune in for Idris, they'd have been better off getting well known people like Kaz or Gabby Unless it is a UK theme, they should have just grabbed people off Survivor, BB or their own MTV shows instead of no name brits. I could be wrong, since Georgia ended up being great casting(Theo too), but I think Idris was a waste of one of the few rookie spots

Either way Georgia promoting the show to her huge following helps the show, even if her followers can only stream it online. Most of the UK ppl do have huge personalities though which is something this show desperately needs in my opinion.

[My response was aimed towards individuals claiming the production will cater towards johnnys needs and have catered towards johnnys needs in the past because he’s their posterboy. He may have leniency with production but in no way has the past seasons been catered towards him. I made 3-4 points on why the why the past seasons have actually been to his disadvantage and all you addressed with as the safety issue and having a M/M team.. Devin isn’t half as athletic as half the females let’s be honest here. And the comp he lost to Natalie in, was 100% geared towards lighter individuals, if you’ve ever watch endurance comes in bb you would know what I’m talking about. Anyways Johnny is old and probably won’t win another season but he’s not as boring as half the cast mates so
