It won't be. WOTW and how it was edited and how the season was heavily favored in the direction of competition like a Duel 2 type of season is the kind of season I expect this one to be and future seasons. The casual fans ate WOTW up and consider it one of the best seasons. Final Reckoning will be the last of its kind for a long long time where they put the emphasis on the drama. Just look at the casting on this season. It is clear competiton and not entertainment is their number 1 priority.
Competition is entertainment. I don't wanna see Laurel vs Jasmine. I want Laurel vs Cara or some other strong girls
It is not to certain pockets of the challenge fanbase. It can be to you but not to other people.
Don't understand why people are complaining about the cast so much. I personally watch for the competition and this cast has some very good competitors coming into the game. I honestly never thought I'd see Laurel, Cara Maria, and Ashley on the same season again and I'm living for it. I'm also excited to see that they're actually giving people like Rogan and Faith a second chance; overall, y'all are quick to judge just because there are people on the cast that you didn't want. There's never going to be a perfect cast...
If we have done the same for every episode that has air for the past 5 years then I can guarantee you that episode wouldn't even be on the top 20 most view episodes since Rivals 2 lol
I actually think this cast is a good mix of competition AND drama. You have Wes vs Bear, Bananas vs CM/Paulie, Jordan/Laurel, CM vs. Laurel, etc for drama. I think this season will be fun. Also a lot of the drama on WOTW stemmed from the competition part of things so I think that will continue on this season too.

Yeah and our opinion matters too. If u want the drama, the real world is coming back. I don't mind that they have drama to build storylines but this is a show that allows them to compete to win money, so competition should be its main focus and drama should come next. This is why I loved Wotw so much and I hated FR

because In modern day challenges, people that have played once are considered rookies. Rules from 2004 don’t apply anymore.
Gauntlet 3 was 2008 for starters (not 2004). Besides the one person here who said what you are now parroting, what evidence do you have (cause lord knows you have none) that “modern” challenges don’t consider people who have played once to be a rookie? Cause gauntlet 3 was the last rookies vs vets season and i can remember as recently as invasion (2017) they would have the word “rookie” in the lower third for anyone on their first or second season.

I’m sorry your ego cant handle a little sass being told you were wrong.

they're just harder to confirm because they decided to cast literally anyone, even if they don't come from reality TV (like Alan last season).
