He a top-notch competitor, no doubt. Listen to his podcast though. He's unbearably loud, long-winded, scatterbrained & a complete idiot. I'm continuously embarrassed for him & that co host of his.
Derrick is an all time competitor. But at this point, he is not the rookie presence/underdog story anymore which was pretty entertaining (Gauntlets, BOTS, Infernos). Actually he hasn't been in that role for a while. You have the Joss' of the world to fill the current Landon/Derrick role.
Darrell's confessionals are still top notch, but Derrick doesn't have any qualities to warrant a spot anymore (at least in an individual game). Now if it was a pairs/allies deal with Darrell, sure. But let's be real, that aint happening lol.
I can only see Derrick on CvS/specials from here on out (if that is even a thing anymore), and sadly all of the other part-time vets as well.

Honestly, anyone that doesn't like every black person aside from Leroy is apparently a racist. Derrick shouldn't be a regular for many of the reasons listed above but he's definitely someone that should show up once in a while as long as he's still willing. Derrick's only 34 or 35 I believe. He's not even "too old" for the show.

lol it has nothing to do with age. I was a huge fan of his underdog story growing up but it’s troubling when he’s still a big supporter of Kenny, Evan, and Johnny (all 3 who have had serious allegations against them). He still even thinks John’s misogynistic “jokes” are funny. He hasn’t condemned Camila (even went to visit her right after Dirty 30, granted a lot of people are still “friends” with her) and is quick to use the “bully” term on people like Day. There’s a lot of coded language in his interviews and it would be nice for him to think for himself. I’ll always respect him as a competitor but not someone who still can’t recognize why these are issues

It’s very telling when someone uses the word “hater” because people don’t share the same opinion as them. Since you’re getting so frustrated reading the threads maybe you should take a break from the site or somethin. It’s just never that deep.
