Lmaoo why do they continue to contact the most irrelevant and boring people from their shows. It’s intentional

im no josh fan and I’m not going to argue you on boring, but completely disagree with irrelevant. He “won” (if you want to call it that) bachelorette and “won” bachelor in paradise so as far as a male draw from the bachelor franchise he’s definitely relevant. I’d prefer for them to not draw from that franchise but he’s certainly better than chase (granted that bar is so low it may be on the ground)

Y'all know there's 2 Josh M's right? lmao

Martinez is on the likely list, Murray is on the up in the air one.

I find the bachelor to be an irrelevant and dated program tho. I’ve personally never seen a more bland franchise lacking in flavor but that’s just a personal opinion

They have a shit ton of viewers, it doesn't matter person opinions, they will likely continue to cast from the show.

Survivor has even more & one would think that would've been the first outside show they cast from yet here we are......

Idk why you guys keep hope. As long as mtv has this show it’s gonna suffer

Hanging on by a baby hair at this point lmao

That is what I am saying! Survivor wins it timeslot every week and has over 7 million viewers still and is almost 20 years old. Survivor people must turn them down because they have to have had try to get them.

Nope! Two were all set to go for WOTW but then got dropped; likely for two people who blended in with the furniture.

We just had Cydney say about a week or two ago that she would love to do this show; letting us know without saying that she likely didn't even get a call.

On Twitter Challengetea911 tweeted that a castmember just told her Aneesa got dropped for next season, is there any truth behind this??

nobody’s viewers have transferred over to this show when will y’all learn nobody cares. Plus they cast from irrelevant shows like Party Down South and Fire Island so like Graphik said if they cared about viewers that bad they’d have been got some survivors on here. That show still lame idc how many middle aged housewives watch it

Mtv cares. Why do you think they keep casting big brother people? They clearly expect it to help ratings.

Surprisingly, Derrick doesn't interrupt and go on rants like he usually does lol. It was a great interview.

He meant the viewers the show is supposed to be gaining from casting from said shows actually don't care to follow these people to another network. We all know MTV is ******** as **** lmao this is the same network that thinks changing the name of pointless shows certain to flop either way you cut it (Made in Kentucky, Made in Staten Island, Young & Pregnant, etc.) will all of a sudden make them ratings hits. What they "care" about (which has long been proven to be nothing but themselves & the coke that lines their meeting room tables) is beyond far removed from what should be prioritized lol

The biggest name from The Bachelorette did absolutely nothing for EOTB2's ratings.

they throw shit at the wall until it sticks. You can't twll me a casting team that picked up a soft core **** star off of Instagram truly cares all that much. CBS and Viacom are close so very close they almost merged this is the reason they contact them not because they truly believe they'll bring the big numbers. (Even then MTV wasting a plug on useless people sans Day and Paulie) What do you gain from caping for that boring *** dating show lmao

Hmm..I feel like someone that we think will for sure be on..will soon be taken off of that very likely list.

But the survivor viewers likely don't care either lol. Especially for people like Michelle who casuals hate already. This issue doesn't go away with survivor players like people like to believe.

Or Da'Vonne from how she talking on Challenge Mania kept saying 33 might be her last. But that could be her just throwing people off.

Day is going to say that every season come on now,  she's not the first or last to claim to be done but come back immediately

She’s done that every show so I don’t take her threats seriously until she’s confirmed not there

I never said they did lmao the discussion was about MTV casting from The Blandchelorette b/c the show has "a shit ton of viewers" as the reason why MTV will keep trying to make fetch happen, to which I stated that Survivor has even more viewers but they have yet to cast from them (the U.S. version anyway); showing that it's clearly not about ratings.

We all know at this point that if Big Brother, Bad Girls Club, Vanderpump Rules, American Ninja Warrior, etc. etc. couldn't make ratings pop, nothing will other than MTV giving the show to somebody who knows what they're doing & then finally dying off. My reasons for wanting Survivor finally on the show never had anything to do with ratings lol

Irrelevent and bland are two completely different things though. Certainly speaks to your point about being boring but if it was irrelevant it would do much much much worse ratings wise.
