Watching Day cave to Bear during nominations in the previous episode disappointed me. She is allowing him to run the team which is pathetic. She'll learn.
Well she did get front row seats to the Amanda/Zach stand off... so she did learn.. what NOT to do.
I guess but that still doesn't mean she's playing a smart game. I hope she picks it up the second half of this season and returns because I think she's capable of being very strategic...she just isn't yet.
I don't think there's anything she can do or say to keep them safe because Bear has made them too big of a target now. Their only hope now is to get in the tribunal or win an elimination and get the relic..

I don't know about Bear specifically but Davonne definitely wanted to get with the British alliance (seeing as she was part of the Big Brother alliance). I definitely expected a moment like when they fought and Bear quit on that challenge daily but I did not expect Bear to keep up with (and tie or possibly beat) Leroy one on one in that elimination.

She's in with the strongest alliance (UK), and still had a relatively good hold on her BB alliance (Josh/Amanda until they left and Paulie). At this point it's obvious it's UK vs. the rest of the house, so I don't really know what she could've done to politic around that.
How exactly has she kept herself safe? Didn't they go in. We'll see how quickly they get sent in again. Day's doing what she can but caving to Bear about the nomination and who to go against isn't strong game play. None of that is slandering her...still like her and hope she does well this season and in the future. Just want her to take control.

Day has played a smart game, as good as she could with Bear as her partner I think. But continuing to discredit her is what I meant by "slander". If it was Susie in there in the strongest alliance and fake crying to try and uphold her alliance with Paulie too, you'd be declaring her a mastermind of politicing and an elimination queen for winning the 1 elimination she went into.

What are you talking about? Susie would never allow Bear to make any decision for her....ever. Susie always dictated the vote. On Inferno 3 and The Ruins. Always. Susie's also undefeated in eliminations. Facts.

That vote didn't matter though.. that's why she let it go. Jenna/Gus and Wes/Dee were the majority.. Paulie was safe.. so that's why she played on their emotions so that even though they put them in, Paulie still won't target them.. so she covered her bases but it wasn't a vote worth going to a potential stale mate.
