Because a 2 time challenge champ who has been to like 8 finals and knows how to pace herself losing to a random first timer is gonna be hilarious. The way her fanbase pegs her as an absolute unit of a competitor to lose to someone who has no idea how to pace themselves in a final would be pretty shameful. And Ashley has thrown Amanda under the bus twice to get a win (and hurt their friend Sylvia during this past final), so how exactly is that a difference? The reality is both of them sacrificed their own game for someone who had shown a willingness to hurt them in the game.
