There are 8 “vet” guys and 7 vet girls. Pop might be into something about qualifiers for who the Fresh meat are. Because Davonne and Kam not confirmed yet and they’d bring the vet girl tally up to 9 which is 36 castmembers and 18 team if the sexes are even.
I feel like the Challenge is essentially becoming a "Battle of the Network Reality Stars" which is highly disappointing. I think what made the challenge great early on was seeing the growth of people you watched on RW/RR. I've come to accept AYTO and Fresh Meat but things are getting out of control. I guess if it is MTV-US vs Others the MTV team is Ammo, John, Leroy, Nelson, Zach, Wes, Aneesa, Cara, Faith (?), Jenna, Kam & Nany...it could be worse but that's hardly interesting. I'm just praying that we get one old school surprise other than Wes. I'd settle for pretty much anyone...even Mark Long at this point...okay, not Mark lol

Even though I'm okay with other shows being on I agree with KVM. The whole point of this show was to showcase RW and RR people and see them in a different light and such. Now that's lost being that those 2 shows are gone and they're bringing these other shows on. The show lost what made it different from other competition shows and that's sad. But it is what it is.

I don't mind other shows now, but I think a lot of people like it being from the RW because it was a show circulating around them just as people. You felt like you got to know them. BB and other shows are circulated around dating or a game. The RW was circulated around issues and insecurities and things going on in their real life (especially earlier seasons) so I think people were more connected to them.
