Rivals 3 is based on points of completing a challenge first/better than your partner. Not sure if it'll be the same for this one or it'll only be based on the usual, timing.

Regardless of anything Zach is an idiot for letting them go to deadlock. Yes John is your friend ok cool so are Ashley/Hunter for Amanda. Both of you have friends in the scenario understandable. After that you should just use your brain and pick the stronger team to try and eliminate.
