To me, it doesn't make sense that Kyle (who has brought nothing to the franchise other than ******* 3 single girls who would've found someone else to ****) is being cast over Shane (who has been the best villain the show has seen since Beth & gotten most screentime all season). But Shane didn't make the cast due to BMP prioritizing Jozea because he is "younger and more relevant to the demographic". Where's the PSA for that?

It's not just about having one or two LGBT on a season though. It's about there being one or two LGBT SPOTS on a season. So instead of casting multiple gay people because they're interesting/entertaining, they're only casting one and telling the others that they're not needed because their demographic has been filled. Instead of just picking the best cast they're picking for demographics, is what I think the issue is.
That being said... while I love Shane I can see why people don't like him... but why does Jozea have to be our new token gay? He is actually awful... he makes me physically cringe with how deluded he is. To be fair though, the pickings are kinda slim on the gay guy front ☕️ I miss the days when we could get two guys hooking up on a Challenge
Marlon is ready & willing + he checks off multiple boxes. They want people who will do their bidding and/or people who can't beat their puppets (especially one who could destroy their "Rabid Wolverine").
