Weddings are ******* expensive. My husband and I saved a lot because we did as much as we could ourselves, and yet ot still was too ******* expensive. And still, I don't understand what CT is doing. For me, it was an intinate moment betwren my husband and I, a moment I wantwd to share with closest friends and family. We didn't even post photos on social media. Doing it for tv, letting the network dictate the guest list just seems disingenuous.

My boy and his girl put more money down on their bachelor/bachelorette party in Colombia and Honeymoon in Italy than the actual marraige ceremony. It was a simple eloping. Lavish weddings are a scam.

I agree. Courthouse Wedding is the way to go. Or if you're gonna do something with a smaller group of close friends and relatives a backyard wedding would be fun. But I really don't get the point of weddings in general. I also hate if I'm invited without a plus one or if I'm busy and the couple is pissed if you can't come lol I legit lost a friend over having to skip the dinner but I came for the ceremony and came back later during dancing. I guess we weren't close to begin with lol anyways I digress...yeah courthouse wedding, go out to eat afterwards. Perfect way to tie the not and not break the bank.
