Challenge Throwdown

who are those random non-challenge people on the poster?

So, I reached out to MedGift to find out what all has been donated. And was able to confirm that they haven't received many donations other than from I beleive two events. One from Philly, and then I think something that happened in 2017. MedGift was under the impression that they'd be receiving funds from the events because he was using their name. Now, he took off MedGift from the posters, so I DOUBT anything at all goes to Charity.

thank you for confirming this.

Kasey sent me a screenshot of the MedGift donation page and they havent made a donation since March.

I want to support this cause but the shadiness already all of it is just too much. I feel like it's with good intentions, but it is being executed just absolutely poorly.

Let's be real, like someone said its basically a challenge meet up for fans. Which is cool but shouldn't have attached MedGift to it from jump.

He officially took Diem and MedGift off the posters and changed the event name due to backlash.

as he should. im a supporter of having fan meetups, but the whole thing being connected to charity was a slap in the face.

Yea I know, I meant if he started from the beginning with what it really is I wouldn't see an issue.

So his Facebook response wasn't any better. His first comment said "You have to make money on an event to donate" Well Sir, don't advertise that you're donating to the cause then. Also, I know **** well they would've made some great money from NY and Orlando. So what's the excuse there? Next, his other comment stated "We are going to make donations to medgift after events" This leads me back to question one, Whats the excuse for NY and Orlando? When I called MedGift today, I had such an amazing conversation, I got to learn about more about the cause, and Diem in general. And trying to keep it private, the person I spoke to today stated some concerns as well.

I'm still against cast members getting appearence fees. Travel/hotel is one thing, but do they really need to be given a check to support Diem?

Shout out to Tori H and Ashley K for donating their $$$

To be honest idk why this has to be connected to any charity on the first place?

I am pretty sure as a throw-down event for fans to meet cast members it will do just fine. I am not against anyone making some profit out of this , just dont lie about the charity stuff.

Agreed 100%

I heard he explained his side of the story on susie and sarahs patreon. Did anything catch it? I know I’m not paying for itLOL

So did he ever clarify if Cara is going or not?

Probably used the charity to get discounts on venues

yikes. That's ****** up

Nah. There's really nothing to be said; he's gotten exposed now as well as the other cast members that continue doing these events unfortunately.

Miss Kasey did it for me. I'll leave it at that ******.

The true tea is grunt guy has been dodging them for months now ☕️

Like not paying them? Well that’s even more pathetic that they keep doing them then

Okay..... I’ll post what I know.

Yup! They have reached out on a few occassions to check the status on the donations, and after several attemps to get in contact they have given up. He also told me (My contact at MedGift) that he noticed the name being removed on promotions going forward, he encouraged me to ask The Grunt Guy about the donations and thats when he responded the way he did yesterday.

Long story short I was ****** about the Austin event in Texas and saw people asking about donations in here. So I decided to do some probing to figure out what was going on. I started by making a donation myself to the cause, and then looking at previous donations, etc. When I only saw 3 total donations (2 for events, 1 for tshirt sales I beleive) I messaged MedGift asking if they can provide further details. I was then reached out to by a contact with the non for profit and they asked for me to give them a call as they did not want anything in writing which I understand. So we talkekd on the phone for a good 15 or so minutes.  I was even more upset hearing the confirmation that they haven't received anything from the previous events that advertised MedGift or Diem Browns name. I asked The Grunt Guy what his status was on donations, and he responded with "These events have to make money in order to give money"

**Insert Eye Roll here**

1) MedGift has only received 2 donations from the Throwdown events, one for the amount of $2,500 and another in the amount of $1,600 from the Philly event.

2) A representative for MedGift stated they haven’t received any additional donations even though there were 5 events total that were in honor of MedGift/Diem.

3) The same representative from MedGift has reached out to the people from “The Challenge Throwdown” about the events held in New York and Orlando and why there hasn’t been a donation made yet.

4) The representative from MedGift asked the people in charge of “The Challenge Throwdown” to remove any mention of MedGift from the event due to the issues that have happened in the past, castmembers behavior, and overall sketchiness.

5) Multiple castmembers who have attended one or  multiple events have not been paid for the appearance they made. I’ve also been told that Bananas & Cara both have really high appearance rates.

Ok so I guess its time to respond on here as well. For those calling me a scammer you have the right to your opinion but it is wrong. Since I have started this I have put my family through financial **** to try and build this, like any business you start there are mistakes that are made and you correct them as you learn from them. The first 2 events were profitable so we were able to make donations as for the last 3 they have not been and I have directly spoken with MedGift about issues and money being raised so I'm not sure who the above person spoke with but I email once every 2 weeks definitely not dodging them. So to break it down most events have minimum of 400 tickets that need to be sold to make it profitable and the Volleyball and Orlando did neither and as for New York

New York started the rough patch when we lost $12k to chargebacks due to a event that popped up taking place earlier that day with to cast members attending another event that directly competed with our event for $10 and made people think those 2 cast members wouldnt even be able to make our event.

I know know that it would have been better to not advertise so  heavily Medgift and Diem but I was trying to do something good and that was 100% and is still my intention but we are taking a step back from plastering it everywhere and will choose to donate after the event if possible.

Yes there are some cast members that have really high appearance fees

We will be doing a full relaunch of the tour starting and Illinois in September to be promoted as a chance to meet cast and party with them and if the events are successful we will make a donation we will.

I 100% admit that i've made some mistakes from the get go but I'm learning from them and trying to correct them, the goal is still to give challenge fans an experience they wont get anywhere else through these events. By the way if you think I'm making a killing doing this you are dead wrong.

Maybe switch up who you cast? Why would you cast the same people if they have really high appearance fees
