Rumor (not confirmed 100%, it can be wrong ) is that there is a double cross in redemption whoever gets it determined their opponnent from the other teams in redemption. The teams that are not selected leave, while the other 2 face each other and whoever wins back to the house the other stays there.
So if there are 5 teams, 2 teams pull the double cross, they choose a team each and face off. 2 teams are eliminated and 2 team join back into the game. And the team not selected remains at redemption. Is that what you mean?
I think only 1 team gets the double cross (Assumming its correct) then that team select their opponent from the teams there.The teams not selected goes home without getting a shot at redemption, they just wasted their time there lol

The double cross is used when apparently 4 teams are in redemption. 1/4 teams pulls the double cross and chooses their opponent. The 2 other teams are sent directly home. The team that wins gets back into the game, the loser stays in redemption.
Thinking about it I dont like this twist. Everyone in redemption should get to compete to get back into the house.
Why? They were already eliminated and imo are lucky for any shot at redemption. Now redemption is just more luck/politic based.
I agree, if you lose an elimination anything after you are lucky to receive. Don’t lose eliminations and you won’t have to worry about the double cross
