They use estimates based on people who have Nielsen in their homes. They don't account for a lot of factors, the biggest being the number of people watching online on MTV.com. You guys act like MTV is about to burst at the seams and fall apart. I promise you their shows are just as watched as they've always been and they're raking in just as much money in advertisements. Most people just tend to watch online now.
Ain't nobody watching no MTV besides the Teen Mom/16 & Pregnant folks & Challenge viewers. Why you think they're having to ride the Jersey Shore wave again? They show Ridiculousness ALL day & that new TRL was a colossal, now cancelled again (despite their lies; if its not technically "cancelled" then its definitely on its way out the door by this summer) flop.
MTV ratings haven't gone down compared to everyone else. Everybody's ratings have gone down because there are less people watching TV, and more people watching online. Nielsen ratings are outdated and that's a well-known fact. That's why it's laughable that you guys throw out the "only gets .75 million" argument. I'm not saying they haven't gone down and there aren't adjustments being made, I'm saying it's not just MTV. They are not on the brink of collapsing. If they want to air the Challenge for 10 more seasons, they can. Nielsen ratings mean literally nothing.
Telllll emmmmm. There's a reason why the Challenge is usually around fifth on Tuesday nights even though so many other shows are pulling in 1mil+ viewers. Everything on TV is going down ask the NFL.
Why the **** are people from BGC and others stupid shows appearing. This Angelina, Faith, Paulie, and Da'Vonne girl can stay home and keep Natalie with them. If this is supposed to be a 'trilogy' why cast these people from random shows that have nothing to do with people from Dirty XXX and Vendettas.
Well I for one would rather see some rookies rather than repeats from Dirty 30 and Vendettas. Think we got enough repeats from Vendettas as it is (17 I think?)

Agreed here, he seems useless, but I'm guessing their excuse is that he is a BB contestant (which they're now casting from). Casting pro athletes doesn't seem fair.

Think that only applies to non-casuals. If you saw how casuals reacted to Tris****e, KellyAnne, Veronica, Shane, Darrell etc, they had no idea who they were.

The Brits from Ex on the Beach pretty much saved Vendettas so I'm open to new shows joining. RW and RR aren't even on the air anymore, they're going to have to dig into new casting pools to get relevant rookies rather than cast RW alum from 4 years ago. They're trying to make this show their mainstay and attract more viewers. Don't you think that fans of Ex on the Beach, BB, etc. would be more likely to tune in if some of their favorites were on the Challenge?

First off when did I say Are You The One should be the only ones left on the show? They're MTV, the Brits are MTV...they're fine. Find another current show from MTV that works and I'm fine with that as well. I'm glad you've enjoyed the people from BB on the challenge, that's great. They can stay on Big Brother on their other network. I hope they do re-work the Real World, and if the rumors were true that Road Rules was in the a revamp as well I hope we revert back to them. But inviting people from other shows is not needed. There was never an issues in the past of changing up the cast with past cast members from older shows, and I don't see where the issue will be now with it. Someone like Madison who never got on the Challenge who was on the maybe list...I'd hate to think she got bumped for someone irrelavent to this show that was on Bad Girls Club or Big Brother. Losing KellyAnne this last season when we could have had her and Brad on the same season for potential drama but instead they give us a random like Natalie (who thank the Lord finally got sent home), there are so many possibilities to have a good drama and good fun with cast members who already exist who aren't main stays that it's stupid to bring in these outside MTV shows. I'm fine with new people from the spin offs and when we get a Fresh Meat / Bloodlines, they're new and they don't have a reality tv past and they are original to this show. I can't rant for hours, but I will always stand by this point.

Ok I completely agree there. And I also think that after Final Reckoning, it might be time to do Fresh Meat III. As much as some people hate the random rookies, it also gave us Diem, CM, Laurel, Theresa, (unfortunately Kenny and Evan) etc., some very strong competitors or personalities.

I must've misunderstood you then. The reason why they're bringing in those random people from other networks are because a lot of them are on the US version of Ex on the Beach. They have a history of being on an MTV show, but it hasn't aired yet. I agree with you on the Fresh Meat / Bloodlines points but I don't know if it will be successful due to a lot of the Bloodlines not being on a second season. I also agree with you on not being happy with a lot of people not coming back. KellyAnne should definitely come back, and I think Thomas should too because I thought he was cool. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Ineractive online Challenge experience. The time commitment is minimal!
Second Round Calls are going out now, but it's not too late!
Colton Underwood a former NFL player and Challenge/Johnny superfan is rumored to be in the house. They really reached to find a Leroy replacement for Johnny.

googled him and he’s apparently on this coming season of the Bachelorette so it wouldn’t even shock me

Telllll emmmmm. There's a reason why the Challenge is usually around fifth on Tuesday nights even though so many other shows are pulling in 1mil+ viewers. Everything on TV is going down ask the NFL.
I'm super excited Amanda got added but that means we are just one Lavender Lady short and I'm reminded how mad I am that Ashley M. isn't on.
Amanda is telling people that chuck fingerblasted Natalie on the plane as we speak
Amanda <33333 cant believe it
Icon
So happy Amanda is coming back!<3 lowkey was starting to think she was done with the challenges
I wanna see if her and Veronica will become friends, especially since they're both friends with Shane
It can’t be serious that AYTO Morgan is a replacement. That has to be a joke right?
Just keeping an eye on him a lot of fishy stuff
I’m fine with potential Morgan bc he could at least provide some competition unlike chuck probably. Although we really just need Connor to come on....
Don’t come for Chuck.
Little does she know Cara and Chuck actually shagged before boarding the plane
so Ashley and Hunter being alts is out? smh
I'm fine with Rookies...**** as much as I hate to admit it I'm fine with the MTV Brit invasion and even some AYTO...I'm not fine with outside shows. YES! Thank you!
Only Hunter.

That's not a good thing....
I dont get the point of making 3 accounts on this site and thinking you shouldnt be banned...
