I don't do spilers past casting so I won't look at the other form but my thoughts:
- ***. Why the **** are people from BGC and others stupid shows appearing. This Angelina, Faith, Paulie, and Da'Vonne girl can stay home and keep Natalie with them. If this is supposed to be a 'trilogy' why cast these people from random shows that have nothing to do with people from Dirty XXX and Vendettas.
-If they're going to cast people from the spin off they really think this Jozea dude is the one to use? I'd much rather see Luise, Lola, or Justina.
-Super stoked Queen V and Shane are back. I was hoping for more old schoolers to pop up. You know, ones that would makes sense with a connection to Shane and Queen V. Clearly when the old schoolers come back it has caused waves and are getting people excited. Why stop the trend?
- Happy Jenna is back. A season break is good for me from people who come a lot.
-Queen Marie is back which is always a good thing.
-Sad that Madison isn't getting a debut and they passed up a legit cast members for this non-show other network trash. (I know 'ex-on the beach' is now on MTV but it hasn't even aired yet and I will always fight that Real World / Road Rules alum deserve a spot over any others. Period.
-Sad that Sarah R isn't listed. She hinted hardcore that she may be on it. Unless that was about the next spin off.
-Stuck seeing Nelson again. Hoping he goes out first, and then is never invited back. He is still the worse.
Overall, not thrilled with the direction they went on casting. So much potential and we get even more outside show casting. So stupid. If I wanted to watch BGC, BB, etc I would watch them. I'm hoping my legit castmembers can send them all home early. Queen Veronica is my main pull to this season once again.

Well I for one would rather see some rookies rather than repeats from Dirty 30 and Vendettas. Think we got enough repeats from Vendettas as it is (17 I think?)

Agreed here, he seems useless, but I'm guessing their excuse is that he is a BB contestant (which they're now casting from). Casting pro athletes doesn't seem fair.

Think that only applies to non-casuals. If you saw how casuals reacted to Tris****e, KellyAnne, Veronica, Shane, Darrell etc, they had no idea who they were.

The Brits from Ex on the Beach pretty much saved Vendettas so I'm open to new shows joining. RW and RR aren't even on the air anymore, they're going to have to dig into new casting pools to get relevant rookies rather than cast RW alum from 4 years ago. They're trying to make this show their mainstay and attract more viewers. Don't you think that fans of Ex on the Beach, BB, etc. would be more likely to tune in if some of their favorites were on the Challenge?

Don't flat out ratings sum up the total of EVERYBODY watching, no matter the age? I mean, we can narrow it down to demographics but they still not bringing in the numbers like that regardless.

This was the same argument with Rivals 3. 2-3 seasons later, now the AYTO folks "not bringing ratings" so here come people from these other shows......now what will be the excuse 2-3 seasons from now when that 700-800k is STILL the standard?

They show Ridiculousness ALL day & that new TRL was a colossal, now cancelled again (despite their lies; if its not technically "cancelled" then its definitely on its way out the door by this summer) flop.
There are many examples on TV that show that the Demo numbers are infinitely more important than the flashy number posted in the ratings thread. a glaring example of this was peak Greys Anatomy having 5 million less “viewers” than CSI but still being more lucrative and more talked about during that same time due to excelling in core demos

MTV ratings haven't gone down compared to everyone else. Everybody's ratings have gone down because there are less people watching TV, and more people watching online. Nielsen ratings are outdated and that's a well-known fact. That's why it's laughable that you guys throw out the "only gets .75 million" argument.
I'm not saying they haven't gone down and there aren't adjustments being made, I'm saying it's not just MTV. They are not on the brink of collapsing. If they want to air the Challenge for 10 more seasons, they can. Nielsen ratings mean literally nothing.
