They like to cause drama with the pairs and if it was a theme that made it easier to figure out who was being casted there’s no way they would announce it this early knowing they try to prevent spoilers

Big brother route- air episodes as its going on. I highly doubt its going to happen though. The castmembers would have to either film for a very long time or have multiple episodes per week which i dont see mtv doing.
It would be dope if they announce the theme & then suddenly started the season (in real life somehow, maybe through something similar to a Vevmo game); 2 people get eliminated before they fly out to the location & then have the whole thing be filmed live.......some off-the-wall type of shit lmaoooooooo I know they don't think anywhere near that far though....

Filming starts March 15, supposedly, still in the middle of Vendettas. Maybe they're planning on doing 32 right after 31, concurrently with Champs vs. Stars 2 though.
I would think it has to be something viewers are familiar with and would be easy to understand in a 30sec-1min commercial for it. I wouldn't think it would be a Rivals/Exes because then that'd ruin the "surprise" for the cast. Maybe Free Agents 2, Duel 3, Cutthroat 2? or some type of RW vs AYTO/UK or Vets vs Rooks/Champs vs Challenges type thing.

I think the theme will be something new and likely individual. They wouldn’t make the announcement like this otherwise.
