I have a theory that the reason season 30 was NOT called Free Agents II is because they basically want every challenge moving forward to be individual. Vendettas already has similarities to Free Agents as well (but no draw/double-cross).
They are trying to start a new "era" for the show. Teams was the show's blueprint up until season 20. Then pairs, and now season 30 + 31 is making me think individual challenges are what we'll be seeing for awhile.

I'm honestly stunned Season 4 has been ignored. I thought that season was going to be shoved down our throats especially after half of Second Chances was filled with that season.
Teams and pairs make it easier for people who suck to get farther which is the whole point. The people who do not suck are repetitive so why not switch it up. This is a TV show not a sport, I really don’t care about who’s the best from a technical point of view
