Ashley not being on is understandable. I think production now finds her to be a liability because she's unpredictable/unreliable. They like having her, but they don't want her doing "seasons" back to back. They basically unexplicitly gave her the choice of Champs vs Stars or season 32, and she chose CvS, so they don't think she'll be stable enough to go on S32 without quitting
